Consultant & architect job description

Infosys is looking for DevOps Architect/DevOps Consultant. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose, and create the solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables, and contribute to the proposal development, client training, internal capability building, and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
This position may require 20% travel to project location.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. We will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education 12+ years of IT experience and 3+ Development experience Experience in conducting DevOps maturity assessment Experience in defining and implementing DevOps Architecture Experience in developing DevOps Roadmap and DevOps Solution Implementation approach Experience in Stakeholder analysis and working with Sr. Management Experience in working in all SDLC phases as well experience in working with Operations team in Agile Development model


Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in one or more of tools in each category: Design and implement DevOps pipelines Cloud Technologies: Experience in Azure Infrastructure as Code: Experience in Terraform. ARM templates, Ansible DevOps implementation in or more of ERP/COTS technologies - SAP, Salesforce, Oracle Apps etc. Version Control system: Experience in any two of the tools- Git/GitHub, GitLab Experience in configuring applications for DevOps enabling tools- Git CI/CD, ArgoCD, SonarQube, jFrog, Nexus, NetSparker, MAVEN, Gradle, ANT, NANT etc. Experience in configuring test automation UI and API testing tools Experience in configuring any two or more of the log management tools - Splunk, LogStash,, ELK etc. Experience in configuring applications for monitoring one or more of these tools- NewRelic, Dynatrace, AppDynamics Prometheuse etc. Strong experience in Containerization Technologies: Experience in any two or more of- Docket, Kubernetes, Amazon ECS, Helm, Rancher etc. Experience in one or more of the ALM tools - JIRA, Rally Full stack development experience

We are seeking a leader for our ServiceNow SC Platform Architects in our US Federal pre-sales business. This person will focus on leading a team of extremely technical and talented individuals, across all of our Federal customers, to tackle complex Federal-specific challenges. We're looking for someone who understand security and compliance needs for a cloud provider, at the intersection of the US Federal DoD and Civilian networks Ideally, this person is deeply familiar with the ecosystem of cloud offerings in the Federal market, and hands on experience with several of them. Experience solving complex challenges, and creatively determining a path forward, while helping to accelerate or unblock sales is critical. A true customer centric mindset, with an engineering background will enable this leader to provide the direction and insight needed to the architects on this team, and engage our product teams to meet government demands rapidly.

The manager, SC Federal Platform Architects will lead a diverse team of highly effective pre-sales SC architects, driving towards helping the US Federal government utilize ServiceNow's platform to meet their needs. As a high-profile leader in our pre-sales organization, this person will help build upon a culture of trust and technical excellence within the organization.

Responsible for leading a team of pre-sales solution architects delivering business strategy and thought leadership for ServiceNow and the Federal ecosystem through go-to-market strategies for innovative solutions with our customers and partners

Develop team members according to the demands of the business and according to their individual professional goals

Attract and retain a world class team of solutions consultants architects to meet future business demands

Engage in customer executive relationships, building trust in ServiceNow within the Federal market, and helping customers maximize value from our platform

Align resources and skills for both current and future growth in partnership with Sales leadership, to execute on market sales strategy. Identify opportunities for improvement in our product and partner ecosystem, where we can accelerate adoption of ServiceNow's capabilities in the Federal market

Build relationships and collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Sales Ops, Product management, Alliance Partners, and our specialist teams to ensure a cohesive focus on the unique needs of the Federal customer base

You will be engaging with customers and the wider Rackspace organization to advise, develop and deliver innovative solutions leveraging a wide range of public cloud services. The primary focus will be on helping customers to re-think their technical platforms and application landscapes and drive adoption of cloud-native technologies and innovation.

Job RequirementsYou'll be a strong technical expert, with experience on complex projects from inception to delivery, to deliver automated, secure and robust cloud infrastructure solutions. Using your deep technical expertise, you will help customers optimize their workloads by providing application focused assistance to build, deploy, integrate, scale and heal using native Azure/AWS/GCP Platform and 3rd party toolchains and automation oriented agile principles.As a central point of contact, you will be leading and mentoring a team of engineers to deliver world class service to our customers.Through both hands-on and consultative approaches, you will be responsible for supporting customers with tasks including provisioning resources and modifying Cloud environments, performing upgrades, and addressing day-to-day customer issues. You're happy to get involved in all levels of technical discussions, from architecture to hands on coding.A good grounding in infrastructure technology is highly advantageous. Leveraging personal subject matter expertise, working closely with peers, the role will be accountable for delivering engineering consulting services in a client-facing role, often on-site with customers. Skills and ExperienceStrong interest in Azure IaaS & PaaS services. Proven experience of designing and supporting Azure environments, including IaaS and PaaS is beneficial.Demonstrable experience deploying enterprise workloads to AzureExperience in building cloud automation, including CD/CI pipelines using technologies equivalent to Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Docker. Experience in these specific technologies is desirable. Including building and maintaining cloud-native applications.Proficiency with PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages.Hands-on experience with one or more configuration management systems such as Ansible, Chef, or PuppetKnowledge of at least one other cloud hosting solution in addition to Azure (e.g. Google, AWS).Experience designing and supporting enterprise core services as well as cloud deployments of these services Extensive knowledge of DevOps methodologies - application delivery pipeline Continuous Integration / Continuous DeploymentStrong notions of security best practices (e.g. using IAM Roles, KMS, etc.) Experience in maintaining distributed database clusters based on MSSQLExperience in Datacenter virtualization Previous exposure to large-scale system design.Network experience, aware of cloud network patterns such as VNet, network interconnect, subnets, peering, firewalls, etc...Experience in implementing and maintaining full stack monitoring including the capture and processing of logs and processes.Maintains an in-depth knowledge of cloud related technologies and can articulate best practice approaches and practices.Ideally have a degree in a technology field or equivalent industry experience.Strong communication skills, customer facing experience desirable.
