Responsibilities The Staff Consultant is a member of a select consulting team committed to a program at Deltek for our Costpoint product. Within this entry-level program, you will focus on training for Costpoint implementation projects. As a Staff Consultant, Deltek will provide you with extensive training on Deltek products, consulting best practices, and the implementation process, as well as mentorship and shadowing of senior team members. This is a revenue generating position with individual performance results tied to utilization and other internal and external performance metrics. As a Staff Consultant, you will: * Gain a strong understanding of Costpoint and how to successfully implement the ERP for clients. * Assist Deltek clients with implementation services to successfully transition from legacy accounting systems through configuration and setup of Costpoint. * Understand industry accounting principles and their application to the Deltek Costpoint product line. * Present essential concepts of Costpoint to internal and external stakeholders via in-person and virtual meetings. * Mature through the Staff Consultant program to learn how to make recommendations for business process workflow design or re-design to clients. * Configure and test client databases, create documentation, and apply DPS best practice consulting methods and processes. * Shadow senior consultants to learn how to engage with clients. * Work within budget and time frame requirements to complete client deliverables. * Use problem solving skills to resolve customer concerns/issues. * Leverage Microsoft Suite to assist with client implementations. * Display excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Must be able to travel when necessary.
