+ Collaborate with IT leadership to manage the installation, maintenance & repair of all cardiology software across the organization; serve as the principal trainer(s) of cardiology related software and workflows, providing ongoing education to staff where applicable to maximize efficiency and productivity; serve as the primary technical, support and maintenance owner of CPACS, ensuring cardiology templates are continuously to clinician satisfaction; responsible for daily support activities, including, but not limited to, exam merging, order correction, image transfers, and any other related activity; identify hardware, network, and architecture issues that may impact operations and ensure timely and accurate communications to relevant parties.

+ Application support: Coordinate and collaborate with external vendors, Radiology, Cardiology, and other ancillary department personnel as well as internal technology and application staff as needed to facilitate installation and mitigate issues; responsible for the manual management of PACS/CPACS hardware where necessary; attend Customer's department, program, and project meetings where the Resource's active participation is essential to the meeting; provide daily oversight and management of imaging system enhancement projects

+ Manage and coordinate all PACS/CPACS staff training - ensure all users have exceptional proficiency; prioritize and resolve issues identified as barriers to efficient clinical workings; utilize customer provided ticketing system to log, monitor, communicate all issues and requests, and resolve tickets timely and in accordance with clients SLAs

What are the requirements needed for this position?

+ In-depth knowledge of Radiologist/Cardiologist and Rad/Card tech workflow; working knowledge with cardiology workstations (multiple monitors, Microsoft Windows, dictation mics, etc.)

+ Knowledge of CPACS/RIS workflow; knowledge of technology integration with a PACS system and radiology/cardiology modalities; knowledge of DICOM and DICOM routers

+ Working knowledge of IT storage, networking, and computer concepts

+ Understanding of military medical base operations, command structure and reporting

+ A two-year degree with CPACS certification or a bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred

+ Security+ and CAC required

Major Responsibilities

+ Act in a strategic capacity as the most senior technical expert for all Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) technologies, tools and processes across the organization for both on-prem and cloud-based solutions

+ Design and configure access management solutions based on industry best practices

+ Develop and direct IAM teams in investigation and resolution of complex privacy, security, and access management problems

Qualifications

  • Maintains configuration management control over vendor supplied and Cubic developed database components

  • Performs software installations, coordinating with the Systems Integration and Business Applications Development groups
  • Implements all access control to the database, taking into account: security, efficiency, integrity, ownership and redundancy concerns
  • Responsible for ensuring availability and performance of the BSD's, including Performance Tuning all Oracle instance components including SQL and PL/SQL
  • Responsible for problem escalation to Oracle My Support and third parties as appropriate
  • Responsible for implementation and release of database changes as submitted by the development and project teams and implementation of changes using Change Control Process
  • Data modeling and Oracle database design

Minimum Job Requirements:

Four-year college degree, or equivalent, in computer science or related technical field, plus a minimum of six years of database administration experience as an Oracle DBA in a production environment. Previous experience in working and operating a 24x7 Production System. Ability to work in a 24/7 on-call rotation. Proficiency using query tools such as SQL or SQL Developer and one or more programming languages such as PL/SQL, Shell Scripting or Perl. Proven ability to prioritize work, complete multiple tasks and work under deadlines. Effective written and verbal communication skills required. Strong trouble shooting and analytical skills and able to perform hardware sizing as well as installation of software modules. Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control, Perl, SQL or Shell Scripting and Microsoft SQL administration is desired.
