• Design and prepare engineering drawings using CAD/GIS software for municipal engineering projects.
• Perform quantity and cost estimate calculations.
• Perform engineering related tasks such as sanitary sewer and waterline design, roadway improvement design, technical plan review, right-of-way permitting, floodplain management, stormwater management, preparation of project reports, construction administration, and project funding coordination.
• Prepare construction specifications.
• Handle client relations as needed.
• Work closely with other V3 divisions on multi-discipline projects.

Qualifications:

• Civil or Environmental Engineering degree required. P.E. registration preferred.
• 2+ years of related municipal experience required. Municipal consulting experience desired.
• 2+ years of related experience in civil, sanitary, environmental, public works, public administration, and/or a related field is required.
• CAD/GIS proficiency.

As a Sr Systems Engineering Specialist at Palo Alto Networks, you are responsible for improving the productivity of our sales teams through the creation and delivery of business-relevant security conversations to our key Service Provider prospects and customers. Your Impact

Effectively lead conversations about our security platform and solutions

Create and deliver compelling demonstrations of products and solutions that clearly differentiates from competitors or legacy security solutions

Educate customers and partners on the modern network security landscape

Identify and qualify new opportunities, and support technical pre-sales activities to opportunity closure

Dedicatedly expand our install base within existing accounts

Maintain key partner technical relationships and effectively enable and demonstrate channel partners to excel in a channel-driven sales model

Drive PoCs allowing the ability to demonstrate our superior 4G/5G Secure Mobility solutions

Build and maintain lab capabilities and demonstrate the value proposition of the proposed solution

Be the SME of Palo Alto Networks as the pre sales expert for the Palo Alto Networks Secure Mobile Platform in 4G/5G Mobility networks

Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams on new feature releases and provide feedback on current feature capabilities based on field experience/input

Regular contribution and presentation in Practice and other team meetings

Develop and coach appropriate practice specialists and practice team members

Develop and lead Internal and Partner facing Secure Mobility workshops

As an Optical Consulting Engineer you will provide project design, implementation services and customer support as part of Cisco CX (Customer Experience) Team supporting Cisco NCS1k and NCS2k. You will be primarily tasked with supporting Cisco Optical Networking Solutions.

In addition, you'll be responsible for:

• Architecting and crafting Cisco Optical Networks with NCS2k and NCS1k
• Preparing technical documentation including HLD, LLD, NIP, and NRFU
• Project Implementation, testing and handover for customer acceptance
• Leading implementation of Optical Networking projects and MOPS
• Daily customer support of Customers Optical Networks

Our most successful candidates possess the following skills:

• Capable of covering multiple platforms and work as domain specialist within Assigned platforms by Technical Lead (Cisco ONS-15454, NCS1k/2k)
• Excellent and in-depth knowledge of Optical technologies, with solid understanding of SONET and DWDM technology
• Expertise and experience in creating optical networks and upgrades using Cisco Transport Planner (CTP)
• High-level support, analysis, and diagnosis for sophisticated, optical network deployments
• Strong networking knowledge, sufficient enough to understand customer solutions, topologies and interaction with higher networking layers
• Ability to translate customer input and requirements into technical design requirements
• Ability to analysis optical fiber tooling (Power-meter, OTDR, PMD, CD, and AP) testing and result to validate acceptance criteria
• Support in network configuration activities of new Optical Services
• Execution of lab trial tests, and report findings to customer, prior to the implementation of new plans. Participate in preparation and testing of new SW releases.
• Experience with IOS-XR for NCS1k/NCS4k deployments.

Experience/Education:

• At least 5+ years of Optical experience
• Undergraduate degree in Telecommunications & Electronics Engineering or IT areas a plus
• More than 5 years of experience doing planning, design, and implementation of Cisco Optical SONET and DWDM networking.
• Experience with Cisco Business Critical Services of Optical networking.
• Experience with CTC (Cisco Transport Controller), CPO (Cisco Prime Optical) and EPNM (Evolved Programmable Network Manager)
• Experience with NCS1k, NCS2k, NCS4k and IOS-XR
• Ability to travel
