The Director of Fraud and Risk Consulting is responsible for Client Services Risk Service Delivery including leading and managing a team of consultants and specialists directly supporting issuer processing clients through consulting engagements, solution and advisory services, and overall end-to-end risk operations and support. The team and function provide both first and second level client-facing Fraud and Risk services including rapid and tactical fraud identification and mitigation, risk application tool expertise, proactive consulting and on-behalf-of advisory services. This role will serve as a Fraud and Risk people leader and technical/functional specialist delivering application and solution expertise, strategic client engagement, rule engineering and implementation, and performance optimization. This function and role collaborate extensively with a wide range of organizations and cross-functional teams to deliver industry leading fraud and risk value-added-services.
Essential Functions

Leads and manages a team of risk analysts and consultants

Fraud and Risk SME delivering comprehensive, proactive, and rapid solutions to evolving threats and opportunities

Delivers end-to-end client risk consulting engagements partnering with cross-functional teams as necessary

Develops and customizes client risk optimization and value proposition strategies to improve performance, strengthen partnerships, and drive adoption of premium risk services

Presents quarterly client webinars spotlighting risk products and services, industry trends, best practices, etc.

Leads end-to-end management and support delivery for complex fraud and risk events across multiple lines of business

Detailed understanding and expertise of complex and highly configurable processing platforms, applications, and tools to deliver robust and product agnostic risk solutions

Proactively analyzes and assesses transaction trends, anomalies, and high-risk activity to identify opportunities and solutions for risk mitigation and performance optimization

Provide comprehensive and customized training for multiple risk applications to strengthen internal and external partnerships

Engineer and implement Flash Fraud Rules in support of internal initiatives and client-facing support requests

Effectively engage, collaborate, and support initiatives across a wide range of core Visa teams including Product, IT, Legal, Risk, Security, and Client Services

Drive and augment Risk services and solutions to enhance value-add, scalability, and performance

Effectively builds client relationships and serves as a client advocate while effectively managing and negotiating expectations, resolving issues, escalations, etc.

Maintains strong awareness and expertise of evolving threats, industry trends, and best practices in payment industry fraud, authentication, and mitigation
