Movoto

Equal parts entrepreneur, product leader, and technologist, Movoto’s Chief Executive Officer, Imtiyaz Haque, has an unwavering passion for building and nurturing high-growth products and teams. He is leading Movoto to make it the most trusted platform for selling and buying real estate with confidence. Before his role as CEO, Imtiyaz served as Vice President of Engineering where he led Movoto’s Global Engineering. Before joining Movoto, Imtiyaz was the Head of Global Research & Development for Philips's Enterprise Imaging & Informatics, where he focused on Lean Startup principles and Agile Development Methodology to deliver innovations to the company. He honed his skills in entrepreneurship when he founded and served as CEO of a Java technology company, growing it to over 100 clients in less than two years and acquiring profitability, which led to a successful company acquisition. With a strong commitment to entrepreneurship & leadership, Imtiyaz passed on his experience and knowledge to up-and-coming entrepreneurs by mentoring teams at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. He has a master’s in Computer Science from the State University of New York and worked many years architecting, designing and developing software in a variety of domains. Over the last 20+ years, he has bought and sold many homes giving him a unique insight on how the real estate industry has evolved during this time and knows what the pain points for consumers and agents alike are. He cares deeply for providing the best experience for consumers and agents with the Movoto platform. His culinary talents are the stuff of legend, and his epicurean tastes are unmatched. He is also a master Ping-Pong player and loves challenges. Although he was never a runner, he recently took up the challenge to run a half-marathon and accomplished it!

Michael Bereck
Zindigo

I’m Founder & CEO of Zindigo, a next generation social and mobile commerce platform and ecosystem. A native New Yorker, I began my career in fashion distribution, followed by an early career transition into finance. After a few years as a broker, I started my own Hedge Fund specializing in emerging growth stocks, venture capital and IPOs. I’ve been raising capital, developing strategies and starting companies since I was 15 years old. After years of trading, investing, raising capital and consulting for other companies, I decided to plant my own seed. In 1999, I founded one of the first fashion e-commerce platforms, fashion500.com. Since then, I have continued as an investor, and created multiple startups. Most recently I founded another fashion e-commerce platform, Zindigo, that is leading the revolution in social and mobile commerce for fashion. To date, we’ve raised $12 million dollars from an international network of individuals. We have laid the foundation and are ramping up to scale. If you want to learn more about me, Zindigo, partnership or investment opportunities, please email me at mike@zindigo.com. Also, I’m a saltwater fly fishing and cigar aficionado, so if you like those things, we can talk about them too.
