Does leadership effectively guide Mega Co-op toward its goals?
No pros
They close your store and only give you a four day notice. Once you are sent to another location you will lose most of your hours and they will look for a reason to let go of you by wrongful write ups for something that you didn’t do wrong. Secondly stores some are dirty and a mess . Thirdly they will close more stores in the future. Their regional market manager is completely not good at their job and should be fired. They will text you while you are sleeping in bed and wake you up. They will call and text you to come into work when you are an hour away from home and want you in within a half hour.
Free fountain drinks if they are not out of what you drink and if they are out of what you drink it may take weeks before they get it in.
There’s nothing to like the ceo and the whole leadership team needs to be replaced by people who know how to run a gas station properly.
If I had been a manager there first I’d want my store cleaned and organized. Secondly if someone forces me as a manager to only schedule them for one shift I’d cut them badly on hours and give someone with a multi shift availability more hours. I wouldn’t favor anyone as a manager and wouldn’t let any customers threaten or take pictures of my employees and allow them to threaten my employees to be fired if they don’t go the customer way. Secondly when they forced so many employees into a transfer or be laid off there should’ve been a question from the store manager what shift did they usually schedule you for and what can I do to make you feel happy here during the transition . Also they shouldn’t spy on their employees as that causes major trust issues for their employees. I honestly would’ve stayed if their store was cleaner and better organized, if there was no spying on me from corporate, no text me or calling me in bed or in the shower or while driving, and allowed me to move around at least every other hour by getting stuff done.
I often for any interview for any possible employer is one know that I want to be a department manager in the future and possibly try out the role of assistant manager. Pray that they hire me and don’t hold my age against me. Remember what Shopko said don’t be loyal to any company look out for yourself and do what’s best for yourself.
I think it’s average
Pretty fair I think
The customer saying that I’m the best at what I do and believes in me for a management role
