Job Description 1. The Material Handler must know all OEM tire marking requirements. 2. The Material Handler must be observant to and clear any obstructions in the conveyor systems. 3. The Material Handler must know and understand the operation of the balance pad and be equally knowledgeable in bar code correction and/or replacement. 4. The Material Handler must safely operate a walkie and/or fork truck and transport pallets of tires to and from work areas and/or machines. 5. Must complete a daily check sheet on each powered vehicle he/she operates. 6. Perform other duties as directed by the PLT Curing Supervisor or Department Manager. 7. Must thoroughly understand the work instructions for this position. 8. Must maintain good housekeeping practices assuring the department is neat, clean and orderly. 9. These rates reflect average productivity by region. **Responsibilities** + Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services. + Perform inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems. + Install batteries and check electrical systems. + Perform tire maintenance. + Install parts. + Road test vehicles. + Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications in at least one of A1 - A8 within first two years of employment (Tests and registrations fees are paid for by company pass or fail. Job Description The PLT QA Tech III - Relief will: determine if the rejected tires from 100% are repairable, scrap, or first class according to the QMD, and perform various audits. QA Technician will be responsible for the following: 1. Able to classify and inspect tires according to QMD standards. 2. Notify appropriate personnel of scrap tires that repeat. 3. Perform various audits, including, but not limited to dirty mold audit, serial audit. 4. Will be cross trained to perform all QA technician inspection jobs. 5. Must be able to lift tires for the duration of the shift and place them on the appropriate pallets and conveyors. 6. QA Technician will follow all plant rules, and will follow departmental safety policies, environmental policies, and chemical handling procedures , including being familiar with Material Safety Data Sheets, (MSDS) 7. QA Technician will follow standard practice for this specific job and perform all work necessary to obtain quality production. 8.
