Plus Prevailing Wage Jobs A certified electrician's job description typically includes the following responsibilities: Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including power, lighting, communications, and control systems. Technical Skills: Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to determine the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal electrical codes and regulations to ensure the safety of electrical systems and equipment. Collaboration: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to plan new electrical systems and installations. Training: Provide training and guidance to apprentices and less experienced electricians. Duties: Will be tasked with assisting in the main yard or 18g CRC yard. Racking pipes on ground level or onto flatbed trailers. EE will roll pipe using dig bar or by rolling with feet only, when on ground level keeping body out of pinch points. EE will direct forklift operator when pipe loading on trailer using hand signals. EE will clean trash and debris from yards, perform general yard housekeeping. Assist in counting pipes and relaying to yard supervisor.
