Terminate DC power, rectifiers, power distribution units (PDUs), BDFB/BDCBBs, inverters, converters, Raycaps, and associated infrastructure used in optical networks. Terminate Ethernet and power cables, as well as fiber optic jumpers. Clean and inspect fiber connectors, and document light levels and other readings using job-specific testing equipment, such as OTDRs, optical power meters, volt meters, and fiber scopes. Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and team members to ensure project timelines are met. Provide detailed documentation of work performed and deliver daily status updates. Complete all necessary paperwork, including daily reports, test results, and as-built drawings. Supervise and mentor junior-level installers as a Level III or Level IV Installer, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety standards.
