Contractor Coordinator -

Under general supervision, the Contract Coordinator is responsible for directing and supervising contractors performing general line clearance activities.


Key Responsibilities:


Directs assigned contractors in safe work procedures, work effectiveness, on the job training, line clearance standards, proper care and use of materials and equipment, customer relations, Company policy and compliance with AES Safety Compliance Standards, as well as, state and local laws. Enforces and complies with all federal safety policies, practices and procedures; ensures that contractors know, understand and apply all safety rules, OSHA and EPA regulations, good work practices and proper line clearance techniques applicable to their work. Ensures quality work is performed on schedule, within competitive cost standards and in accordance with customer expectations. Controls cost by pre-planning the work; estimates labor, material and other costs to complete the work in a safe and competitive manner; coordinates personnel, material and equipment with other Company and contract personnel to achieve the desired job performance. Improves work processes to enhance on-the-job safety, quality of work, customer satisfaction and competitiveness of the division. Serves as division representative to call in contractors during non-scheduled hours for emergency work. Provides supervision, leadership and training to others through day-to-day contact. Prioritizes, directors, monitors and evaluates performance of contractors; Prepares, controls and administers project budgets to achieve maximum business results to overall performance, cost efficiency and reliability



Education Requirements:


Bachelor's Degree in Forestry or equivalent Vegetation Management experience.

The Opportunity:

As Ortho continues to grow, we are seeking a Contract Coordinator to join our team within the Offer Development group. This role will be based in Rochester, NY or Raritan, NJ and is responsible for the management several key areas: Contract Compliance, Equipment Removals, Terminations and Assignments. This position requires a highly motivated individual who is meticulously detail-oriented and customer-focused with the ability to manage competing priorities in a results-driven environment.

The Responsibilities:
Facilitate the Contract Volume Compliance resolution and tracking for the Contract Offer Development Team.Manage the equipment removal process and tracking for trade-in and used equipment.Facilitate the termination process for delinquent accounts and bankruptcies.Liaison for the usage assignment program with our outside leasing partner. Ensuring all documentation and credit approvals are in completed such that we can assign and get paid as per the terms of the service level agreement.As needed, complete additional tasks, including but not limited to: supporting all internal and external audits and participating in special projects and process improvement initiatives.

The Individual:
Minimum Education: High School Diploma required. Associates Degree (or higher) preferred.Background: General business experience preferred.Business Acumen: Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills required; the candidate must be comfortable speaking directly with customers and field personnel.Travel: Domestic travel is required approximately 2-4 times per year.Proficiency in Excel required; Assessments may be used in the interview process.

  • Experience with loading exceptionally detailed entries into a database system preferred.
