Reporting to the Finance Director, you will perform complex and interpretive financial analyses for assigned area. Present recommendations to management. Be a leader to less experienced staff. Lead small teams and works well with small ad-hoc project teams. May perform business partnering, analytics, annual operating plan, monthly forecasting, Metrics & Scorecard, and Period close. 3 years related experience.

Be a partner for specified function on accounting and finance related questions. This will involve the ability to assess needs and resolve risks and opportunities.Participate in the preparation and compilation of the annual operating plan (AOP) and strategic plan for assigned component of the P&L and related balance sheet accounts.Update the monthly forecast for assigned function based on business changes. Communicate changes to business partners by providing specific, actionable and forward-looking commentary on the changes as well as guidance on potential risk.Contribute to month-end/quarter-end close activities to ensure completion of assigned tasks, including identification and resolution of unusual items and issues promptly.Responsible for project work that will rotate and cut across several different financial disciplines including, FP&A, new product development, manufacturing investments, and in-market investments.Lead the development of metrics, scorecards and reporting for assigned function.Evaluate and deliver periodic metrics, scorecards and reports Provide FP&A support Participate and/or lead finance wide-projects, projects will vary depending on needs.

General Summary

    • Maintain master allocation of program expenses and staff against grants
    • Ensure compliance with all grant requirements, including all year end reporting
    • Compile all details for the Single Audit, SEFA, and 990 related to government funding
    • Serve as the liaison to Parent Policy Committee for all reporting
    • Perform general accounting functions to support monthly & annual close and reporting
  • Perform general accounting functions to support monthly & annual close and reporting for the MSV Investment portfolio
  • Contribute to the MSV team

Qualifications

  • Very strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Access (or similar), third party databases ad hoc reporting, and creating program files to import and upload data.
  • Experience with Blackbaud and ADP Workforce Now preferred.
