If you are a detail-oriented, motivated project manager, who thrives on a diverse set of job responsibilities, then your skills are needed as a Project Manager in our PMO team. As part of the project team your project management skills and attention to detail will be used across a spectrum of project management activities. Your role will involve a variety of activities that will require skills such as project management, business analysis, data analysis, project quality, and departmental performance monitoring. You will provide project management and business analysis for a variety of small to medium projects - with activities and artifacts including: project scope document, project schedule, IRAADs, status reports, presentations, meeting scheduling, agendas & minutes, roles & responsibilities, quality tracking, issue or conflict resolution, and stakeholder management. You will create and document performance to quality measures ensuring that our projects are following repeatable, reliable processes and methods. Additionally, the person in this role will be assigned to testing requests, to support and lead End-to-End and User Acceptance Test planning, configuration, and execution as needed.

Project execution working with teams from various functional areas
Partner with leadership team assigned to each initiative
Coordinate directly with internal Optum stakeholders to manage projects. This responsibility will require stakeholder communications and presentation skills
Create deliverables related to operating cadence, project status, risks, and expected results. Plan and deliver well-structured oral and written communications
Provide subject matter expertise in areas including project scope definition, risk identification, project methodology, timeline and work plan details, resource gaps, and other areas of expertise based on established project management techniques
Ensure alignment and understanding of program / project scope and objectives with the organization's strategic objectives, in consultation with applicable stakeholders
Raise awareness of any misalignment or misunderstanding of project scope and objectives with applicable stakeholders
Ensure that all impacted areas are identified, and that appropriate resources are engaged to participate in the scope definition process
Ensure that project scope, requirements and approvals comply with existing governance guidelines and methodology
Ensure that all project dependencies / linkages are identified (e.g., cross-functional area dependencies, implementation timelines, value proposition overlap areas, etc.)
Apply consultative thinking and mindset to advise the internal stakeholders
Performs all other related duties as assigned
Collaborate with counterparts to support work associated with multiple / simultaneous clients
Adaptability and ability to pivot based on new information, shifting timelines and client needs
Appetite for tackling the demands of a high-performance environment

This role is Remote in Denver, CO. Meetings will need to be attended in Denver area so candidate must be local. Role requires 10% regional travel.

Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field OR 3+ years of equivalent project management experience
2+ years of experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
Ability to travel up to 10%

The salary range for Colorado residents is $66,100 to $118,300.
