The Contract System Analyst II is responsible for the development and application of the tools required to execute provider contracting payment modeling.
Essential Functions:
Proactively collaborates with both Contracting Analytics and Configuration teams to support contracting decisions Investigates opportunities for configuration improvements and/or efficiencies Identifies issues related to contract pricing and recommends appropriate solutions Investigates best practices and tools for facilitating contract analysis Supports the development of actionable recommendations to leadership relative to all tools and systems utilized Ensure all governing body regulations are adhered to at all times for existing and future lines of business Identifies similarities between hospital systems and geographies to identify appropriate base data sets when modeling a new provider Build and strengthen provider relationships by facilitating quality service Ensure integrity of information systems; keep up-to-date knowledge of the technical systems, claims processing initiatives, and CareSource payment policies Perform any other job duties as requested
Education and Experience:
Bachelor Degree in related field or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required Minimum of two (2) years of related experience is required Provider contracting or configuration experience is preferred Managed care or healthcare experience is preferred
