The DSPA seeks to advance extramural support programs for the institution by providing administrative, informational, and logistical assistance to faculty and staff, while ensuring compliance with pertinent policies and regulations of the institution, extramural sponsors, and federal oversight agencies. Job Summary The position of Grant and Contract Officer assists principal investigators, project managers, and faculty members by providing knowledge and expertise on proposal and budget preparation, contract and subcontracting negotiations, and rules and regulations of state, federal, and other sponsoring agencies. The position also serves as a continuing source of information concerning funding opportunities and as a liaison between investigators, administrators, and the agency officials.
