The Logistics & Operations Specialist plays a key role in keeping Agri Sciences Biologicals running efficiently day to day. This position supports all aspects of inbound and outbound logistics, warehouse organization, and operational project execution. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Logistics & Supply Chain Management
Coordinate inbound international shipments (containerized loads, customs clearance, freight forwarding, and delivery to warehouse).
Track and manage domestic freight shipments from warehouses to customer locations or dealer networks.
Maintain shipment documentation (BOLs, packing lists, invoices, import paperwork, etc.).
Communicate regularly with freight partners, customs brokers, and vendors to ensure on-time deliveries.
Support product repackaging coordination with third-party blending or repacking facilities.
Warehouse & Inventory Management
Monitor inventory levels in the Minneapolis warehouse and at third-party sites.
Maintain organized inventory records in collaboration with operations software and accounting systems
Oversee labeling, packaging, and pallet organization for outgoing shipments.
Assist with physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation.
Operations & Administrative Support
Assist executive leadership on cross-functional operational projects, including logistics cost analysis, vendor evaluations, and warehouse process improvements.
Maintain clear internal reporting on product movements, order status, and inventory KPIs.
Support compliance documentation (SDS, product registration tracking, etc.).
Help coordinate logistics for company events, field trials, or dealer shipments as needed.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & QUALIFICATIONS
3-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, operations, or warehouse coordination.
Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
Experience managing freight, customs, and international shipping preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, office, and basic ERP/inventory software.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Agricultural, manufacturing, or distribution background a plus.

Overview:
A Subcontracts Specialist is responsible for supporting the management of the company's contractual agreements with subcontractors, in the drafting, negotiation, and execution of contracts, as well as ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions. The Subcontracts Specialist also maintains accurate contract records and databases and assists in identifying and mitigating any contract-related risks. Additionally, this role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as the Subcontracts Specialist will work closely with program managers, legal teams, and customers to ensure that all contractual obligations are met.
Key Responsibilities:
• Acts as focal point for all contractual communications and commitments to customers or subcontractors.
• Advises and supports business team on issues/developments relative to assigned contracts or subcontracts.
• Reviews Requests for Proposals and participates in preparing compliant proposal responses, including pre-paring or supporting subcontractor Request for Proposal documentation.
• Maintains documentation and files in accordance with applicable processes.
• Supports the Contracts department operations and GDMS enterprise objectives.
• Administers relatively non-complex contracts or subcontracts and monitors contract or subcontract perfor-mance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Manage the policies for the company, ensuring compliance with FAR, DFARS, and other regulations and company directives. - Oversee review of proposals and contract actions processed for the company prior to signature or negotiation, and ensure that all factors have been considered and all necessary information has been gathered. - Implement contract policies, procedures, and other business and contractual or compliance matters affecting the business unit. - Manage and direct subcontract completions and close-out process. - Oversee, manage, and provide guidance and direction to direct reports by reviewing all change notices and amendments to major contracts (including all contracts with development effort) affecting period of performance, funding, cost or changes to technical specifications and ensuring proper risk evaluation and mitigation. - Oversee and monitor negotiation of contractual agreements on terms and conditions that are in the best interest of the company and its client.

Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) is a plus.

Process Invoices (US/ROW): Receive & log invoices from external HFE vendors, review with HFE project lead, and process payments with HFE lead authorization. (Requires knowledge and access to two separate contract processing systems, as well as Coupa)
Process Vendor Contracts (US/ROW): Work with Ethics & Compliance for multiple geographies to draft contracts according to their various requirements. This includes submitting WWM review requests & seeking IRB approvals as needed. (Compliance requirements vary by geography. Up to this point, the HFE group has worked with US only Ethics & Compliance. In 2026, HFE will need to establish the same working relationship with multiple Ethics & Compliance geographic leads multiple geographies.)
Resolve Payment Issues: Work with Procurement to resolve all issues related to processing payments, such as errors in vendor bank records. (Example: Debbie spent 4 months/60 hours processing a Fieldwork overdue payment and still wasn't able to resolve an outstanding issue with Fieldwork Dallas bank account updates requested due to challenges working with Procurement.)
Receive, catalog, and respond to CCs: Receive HFE Impact Assessment requests for Change Controls and review with HFE Therapy Lead. Complete all Impact Assessments when no HFE IA should have been required. Prioritize and track all CCs that should have a HFE review. (Most CC Owners continue to require HFE to perform this no value task of performing an IA when none should be required because they create the HFE IA before speaking with HFE.)
Support:
Collaborate with HFE group members to assess vendor capabilities, work with Procurement to onboard new vendors, and update internal supplier lists.
Support broader Research & Development functions when ordering needed supplies/equipment.
Details:
High school diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Some college coursework is preferred.
Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experiences.
Minimum of 5 years of working experience supporting technical teams, ideally in a Medical Device Research and Development organization.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to collaborate with teams, make decisions and solve work problems with minimal assistance.
Fluent in general MS Office tools.
Able to proactively identify process issues, recommend solutions and implement changes.
