Accounting, Division/Branch Garden Grove, CA * ID: 4423 * Full-Time/Regular The Lead Payroll Accountant will assist the Payroll Manager and team with the responsibility of all aspects of payroll operations and administration, and with paying our employees timely and accurately, along with ensuring compliance with Federal and State/Local tax regulatory requirements and all Collective Bargaining agreements. This role requires experience with end-to-end payroll processing, and will assist with all processes, systems, and ensuring accuracy and integrity of accounting and internal controls. Ensure the model & information achieves the needs of the shop and field in a timely manner, plus serve as primary point of contact for the technical aspect of the VDC process throughout the project life cycle. **Position Details** + Assigned and supports a project during design, construction and project close-out (dedicated to one large project or many smaller projects, based on workload). + Responsible for project planning, scheduling, staffing, training, project setup and management. Procure content needed for a specific project. + Manage file sharing with other disciplines for design and coordination processes. (Arch, GC, EE, EC, FP). Primary responsibility is to assist the Safety Manager in enforcing and regulating all safety procedures to ensure that Southland Industries meets all safety requirements in the field and all facilities to better understand the management and coordination of all division safety activities and construction process. **Position Details** + Ensure all tasks and functions on project sites are performed safely in accordance with company safety policies and OSHA standards. + Help implement the Corporate Safety Award Program. + Provide distribution of certification cards for various industrial equipment training and maintain record of industrial equipment training. + Report and manage all company vehicle claims. + Assist in reporting workers compensation claims. + Update Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) manual. + Assemble various safety manuals for distribution. + Assist in implementing and distributing safety tailgate meetings. + Maintain record of signed safety tailgate meeting forms. + **Qualifications** + You love safety!
