Essential Functions:
Construction stakeout services including field setup and quality control of construction stakeout projects
Assist in interviewing and onboarding new field crew staff, CAD Drafters and Survey Technicians
Assist in training of survey field crews, CAD Drafters and Survey Technicians on construction stakeout procedures and protocols
Review performance of field crews, CAD Drafters and Survey Technicians and provide feedback
Construction stakeout calculations, as-built surveys and/or sketches
Grade sheet preparation
Accountable for plan presentation
Survey traverse adjustments
Communicate effectively across all teams and business units
Assist and work directly with Assistant Project Manager and Project Manager
Any other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction surveying field, including both field and office
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D
Ability to relate to clients and people at all levels of the organization
Knowledge of field survey operations, engineering, and construction industry
Ability to read, analyze and interpret drawings and the most complex documents.
Excellent computer skills
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Light to moderate lifting may be required.

Essential Functions:
Quality control of all survey documents, including survey plans, record plots, metes and bounds descriptions, review of title commitment reports and construction layout services.
Provide weekly progress and status reports on project deliverables to all project stakeholders and management team.
Responsible for administering surveying activities which includes oversight of staff, technical resources, and client communication for multiple projects.
Prepare and execute quality control reviews, safety and quality assurance procedures.
Effectively convey our Integrated Business Model in both written and verbal business development discussions and create/maintain our strong presence and leadership in the market and beyond.
Initiate and participate in business development activities to partner with new and existing clients.
Continually seeks opportunities to increase client satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
Monitor project budgets and accountability for project profitability; prepare and review project billing reports for monthly invoicing; work with accounting department on account collections.

Purpose
Execute complex technical transportation engineering techniques, procedures and criteria for transportation and infrastructure projects. Assist in developing sustainable transportation solutions to make communities more livable by reducing traffic congestion, promoting multiple modes of transportation, supporting land development, and improving safety for all users.
Responsibilities
Leadership and Direction
* Receive broad guidance relating to overall key objectives, critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters and broad parameters for execution. Receive direction as needed, and especially on highly complex assignments. Independently apply extensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas of assignments and related fields. Review work produced by staff for quality assurance.
* May serve as a lead/resource among team of colleagues in equivalent roles to share technical proficiency, guidance, mentorship and delegation of assignments. May occasionally provide feedback to managers.

* Work closely with more senior members to learn about and assist with transportation engineering and planning work. Assist with the marketing of the firm's capabilities to establish new clients and enhance relationships.

* Work side by side with the project team on given specialty in transportation projects.
* Execute technical assignments and lead the efforts on all phases of a variety of transportation projects under direct supervision of a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager.
* Prepare maps and graphics for public and client meetings, data analysis, performing field reviews and data collection, conducting research on trends and best practices, contributing to stakeholder and public engagement efforts, developing solutions to complex problems, and presenting recommendations.
* Prepare engineering plans and reports.
* Lead in the preparation of grant applications and associated services related to funding programs.
* Participate in construction-related assignments.
* Draft transmittals, memos, meeting minutes, letters, proposals, and other documentation/communications.
* Prepare reports, plans, specifications, construction schedules, cost estimates, permits and/or designs for projects.
* Coordinate and conduct field visits and ensure appropriate data collection and field observations occur.
* Direct tasks on projects and monitor project progress for technical accuracy and adherence to schedule and budget.
* Provide internal and external technical presentations.
* Provide technical quality control of multiple assigned projects.
* Lead in the preparation of proposals.

Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field required.
* Completed coursework in transportation engineering and/or highway design preferred.
* Five or more (5+) years of professional engineering experience with an emphasis on transportation engineering or related field.
* EIT Registration required, or alternatively, six or more (6+) years of successful transportation engineering experience required.
* Professional Engineer (PE) Registration or ability to receive within six (6) months preferred.
* Experience with the preparation of construction plans and/or studies for roadway or traffic projects required.
* Experience directing tasks and performing QA/QC required.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Valid state driver's license and ability to successfully pass a motor vehicle check or reliable form of transportation to/from the office and/or project site strongly preferred.
* Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, or other engineering design software.
* Experience with AutoTurn and GuideSIGN preferred.
* Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT), permitting agency and industry design, permitting and construction standards, policies, and procedures.
* Knowledge of Federal and State ADA Standards and Guidelines.
* Knowledge of construction practices.

Essential Functions:
Quality control of all survey documents, including survey plans, record plots, metes and bounds descriptions, review of title commitment reports and construction layout services.
Provide weekly progress and status reports on project deliverables to all project stakeholders and management team.
Responsible for administering surveying activities which includes oversight of staff, technical resources, and client communication for multiple projects.
Prepare and execute quality control reviews, safety and quality assurance procedures.
Effectively convey our Integrated Business Model in both written and verbal business development discussions and create/maintain our strong presence and leadership in the market and beyond.
Initiate and participate in business development activities to partner with new and existing clients.
Continually seeks opportunities to increase client satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
Monitor project budgets and accountability for project profitability; prepare and review project billing reports for monthly invoicing; work with accounting department on account collections.

Essential Functions:
Safely operate and maintain positive control of Unmanned Air Vehicles (UAVs) in all phases of ground and flight operations, following air traffic control clearances, establishing aircraft operating procedures, and taking appropriate actions during emergencies.
Ability to coordinate flight schedules, airspace, resources, and other aspects of flight operations.
Ability to relate to clients and people at all levels of the organization.
Must possess excellent communication, diplomacy, and listening skills; specifically, be accessible and responsive to the needs of clients.

Responsibilities
Leadership and Direction

Do the Work
* Perform project development for complex projects, including finalizing scope of projects, preparing bid summaries, preparing project budgets and cost estimates.
* Perform day-to-day project management on multiple projects to meet time and budget milestones.
* Prepare and direct preparation of designs, specification, plans, estimates and reports for projects.
* Review job cost sheets and prepare monthly billings. Ensure assigned projects stay within budget allocation.
* Be responsible for the monitoring and management of work-in-process, billings, and outstanding accounts receivable collection efforts.
* Maintain healthy client relationships and possess solid operational insight for driving projects and executing deliverables.
* Maintain close relationships with clients to resolve all project questions including technical requirements, completion requirements and billing inquiries.
* Assist with marketing presentations and attend marketing meetings.
* Assist team leader in securing repeat business from existing clients and identifying new clients.
* Supervise the work of project personnel to ensure that it meets the highest professional standards.
* Liaise with clients and agencies, subcontractors, and design teams on projects.
* Review project changes, pending or anticipated alterations to the contract, additional work requests, and all other factors, which may significantly affect staffing requirements or budget.
* Provide technical assistance in the resolution of design problems including field investigation or inspections, detailed design work, detailed review of design computations done by others and general coordination of design aspects.
