**Line Mechanic D:**
**What You'll Do:**
+ Assist with the assembly, installation, maintenance, removal and competently inspect underground facilities, conductors, fixtures, structures and other associated equipment on de-energized and grounded overhead and underground facilities under direct or immediate supervision.
+ Demonstrate the ability to competently perform ground person duties under immediate or direct supervision as skill level dictates.
+ Assist with loading, unloading, handling, maintaining, installing and removing poles, towers and structures.
+ After completion of D-100, or equivalent experience, the employee must demonstrate the ability to operate Company equipment (with exception of digger/derricks and aerial lift vehicles), climb poles, ladders and structures, and work on de-energized conductors and equipment.
+ Also, may work on conductors and equipment energized up to 260 volts under direct supervision. After completion of D-200, or equivalent experience, operate digger/derrick and aerial devices, under immediate supervision as skill level dictates.
+ Also, under immediate supervision of a higher classification, may work on conductors and equipment energized up to 260 volts.
+ Assemble and install Line Material and hardware under direct or immediate supervision
+ Use and store hand lines, tie knots and demonstrate a basic working knowledge with ropes and rigging equipment inspection and use.
+ Splice primary and secondary overhead wires using the proper tools, hardware and equipment (including crimping and compression tools).
+ After completion of D-200, or equivalent experience, under direct supervision, the employee may operate cutouts, line switches, reclosers, and other sectionalizing devices, refuse line and transformer devices.
+ During this time frame, the employee may progress from direct supervision to immediate and finally general supervision as skill level dictates.
+ After completion of D-300, or equivalent experience, test de-energized overhead lines and equipment install and remove personal protective grounds under immediate supervision.
+ Inspect and maintain tools, equipment and work area in a safe, clean and orderly fashion. Identify, inspect, use and maintain all classes of rubber gloves and sleeves (PIPE), and insulating blankets, hoses and covers (IPE). Inspect, maintain, organize, operate and stock company vehicles, equipment and tools. Perform housekeeping duties as assigned. Report irregularities and abnormal conditions.
+ Safely execute pole top rescue and bucket truck rescue processes as training is completed5. Protect or control work area. Set and remove barricades, flags, signs, cones and associated equipment.
+ Maintain accurate records and submit accurate reports as required.
+ Correctly read and record information and registered readings on analog or digital Kilowatt-hour meters.
+ Complete Monthly Apprentice Cards and submit to local supervision for review.
+ Perform similar or less skilled work as assigned.

Capable of performing, supervising and inspecting the duties of Mechanic Is, IIs and IIIs. A person in this position maintains repairs and modifies aircraft structures, structural components and engines of complex to extreme difficulty, maintains and repairs aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems and mechanical components, and applies technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determining equipment malfunctions and applies technical expertise in restoring equipment condition and operation. This worker also applies professional technical expertise and guidance to solve complex problems by interpreting technical data such as blueprints or manufactures' manuals. Work typically requires a thoroughly comprehensive knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting/repair procedures and replacement of components, a thorough knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modification and repair and the ability to determine functionality of non-complex electrical systems. A detailed knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, cable tensiometers, sheet metal brakes and sheers, etc. is required. Must possess the experience and ability to provide technical support to structural/mechanical engineers and customers alike, must possess excellent organizational skills in prioritizing workload to meet aircraft delivery schedule. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Aircraft Mechanic III (Sheet Metal):
Sheet Metal Experience: Minimum of eight years total experience in aircraft maintenance support with two years on F-15 aircraft as a sheet metal mechanic. The Contractor shall have the skill to remove and replace F-15 aircraft structural parts and accessories/components and the skill to make adjustments and settings according to established specifications and drawings. Experience in performing or supervising functions such as fabricating, repairing, assembling, or installing aircraft metals, plastics, fiberglass, composites, or honeycomb parts; and corrosion identification, removal, and applying coatings and markings is required. Experience in specialized skills such as taper locks and cold working bushings may be required.
Sheet Metal Knowledge: The Contractor shall have the ability to follow and accomplish tasks in accordance with existing published technical data. The Contractor shall have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications required to accomplish maintenance tasks and modifications. Knowledge is mandatory of structural assembly and modification engineering drawings; concepts and application of maintenance directives; meaning of symbols used in structural and mechanical diagrams, blueprints; using and interpreting measuring devices; and proper handling, use, and disposal of hazardous waste and materials.
Other: Normal color vision as defined in AFI 48-123, Medical Examinations and Standards is mandatory for this specialty.
Responsibility: Performs requirements in accordance with the procedures established in the PWS. Performs diagnosis and corrective actions, disassembles, inspects, evaluates, and accomplishes necessary repairs, lays out work according to technical instructions and technical directives. Determines what repairs, modifications, and part replacements are required. May be required to verify work performed by another for which he/she is qualified to perform.

Role Description:
Perform a variety of complex operations in support of the aircraft. Maintain aircrafts and their associated engines and sub-systems to ensure scheduled and unscheduled maintenance is completed and aircraft airworthiness requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structural components such as cowlings and functional components.
Rigging, surface controls, and plumbing and hydraulic units.
Inspects engines and associated components for airworthiness.
Repair or replace defective engine components.
Sit, stoop, bend, crawl, crouch, and climb aircraft to repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structural components such as cowlings and functional components.
Remove and install engines, props or rotor blades, transmissions, flight controls and other aircraft components.
Read and interpret original equipment manufacturer and program maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other related documentation to determine feasibility and method of altering or repairing the aircraft and its associated components.
Determine the airworthiness of the aircraft and its associated components.
Troubleshoot, repair, and replace electrical wiring and associated components.
Perform progressive phase, periodic and other calendar/hourly inspections.
Perform miscellaneous duties to service aircraft, including hydraulic system servicing, engine oil replenishment, aircraft systems lubrication, aircraft fueling, etc.
Interacts with Company Production Control, the Customer and manufacturer in matters that concern the airworthiness of the aircraft, operational readiness of the aircraft and issues related to the troubleshooting of the aircraft system.
Knowledge of U.S. Army Maintenance Documentation System, i.e.,738-751 DoS Pam Gen 1, 328-23.
Required to complete maintenance documentation in compliance with all applicable program procedures. Required to make entries electronically through the program MIS.

Qualifications Required
High School diploma or GED.
Federal Aviation Administration issue Mechanic certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant ratings or acceptable Host Nation equivalency.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and various levels of leadership in both written and oral form.
Ability to read and comprehend maintenance manuals and technical data in English.
CMF 15 aviation MOS series or another military or commercial equivalent to the DHC-8.
Minimum of eight (8) years prior experience maintaining specific assigned aircraft.
8 years direct experience in aircraft maintenance, civilian or military.
Must have exercised the privilege of their Airframe and Powerplant License for a minimum of 6 months of the previous 24 months.
Must have previous experience working phase or heavy maintenance on assigned aircraft: DHC-8
Experience with working from blueprint drawings, diagram, specifications, service manuals, sketches, templates, and other incomplete data.
Ability to sit, stoop, bend, crawl, crouch, and climb to repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft.

Line Mechanic C-A:
What You'll Do:
Assemble, install, maintain, remove and competently inspect overhead, and underground facilities including conductors, cables, transformers, fixtures, structures and other associated equipment under immediate or general supervision as skill level dictates.
After completion of C-100, or equivalent experience, shall be competent to perform work on conductors and equipment energized up to 260 volts under general supervision. Assist with work on conductors and equipment energized at secondary voltages to 600 volts under immediate supervision of higher classification.
After completion of C100, or equivalent experience, test, de-energize and ground URD cable, Splice and terminate URD cable, and troubleshoot, repair and energize URD cable and equipment under immediate or general supervision as skill level dictates.
After completion of C-200, or equivalent experience, shall be capable of working on conductors and equipment energized up to 600 volts under general supervision. Use volt meters, amp meters, ground meggers, continuity testers and other electrical test equipment associated with line work on voltages up to 600 volts.
After completion of C-200, or equivalent experience, may cover up stationary tied in (cannot transfer) primary conductors and equipment under direct supervision as skill level dictates.
After completion of C-300, or equivalent experience, may cover up, transfer or move primary conductors and equipment under direct supervision as skill level dictates.
After completion of C-400, or equivalent experience, perform the same duties as outlined in the B classification during the first TWELVE MONTHS. (Wording from LMB description - During the first twelve months in this classification (LMB) assist with work on energized lines, cables and equipment.
During this time frame, the employee should progress from direct supervision to immediate supervision as skill level dictates.
Also, shall be capable of replacing fuses and operate switching and sectionalizing devices energized at any voltage when working under general supervision.).
Build and erect equipment mountings (such as regulator and transformer platforms) and build overhead transformer installations.
Conduct proper tagging procedures while performing switching of energized circuits

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Aircraft Mechanic II (Avionics/Electrician):
Electrical Experience: Minimum of six years total experience in aircraft maintenance as an aircraft avionics/electrician with one year on F-15 aircraft. The Contractor shall have the skill to remove and replace aircraft parts and accessories/components and the skill to make adjustments and settings according to established specifications. The Contractor shall also have the skill to identify and isolate integrated systems malfunctions and analyze performance and operate integrated avionics systems to determine operational condition per operational checks. Experience using specialized tools required for military aviation electrical connector assembly/disassembly and other associated electrical terminating devices is required. Aircraft modification and operational checks experience required. Contractor must have experience in electrical harness fabrication and braiding.
Electrical Knowledge: The Contractor shall have the ability to follow and accomplish tasks in accordance with existing published technical data. The Contractor shall have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications required to accomplish maintenance tasks and modifications. Knowledge is mandatory of electrical, electronic, microelectronic, mechanical and indicator principles theory, and application relating to electrical systems; concepts and application of maintenance directives; meaning of symbols used in wiring diagrams, blueprints, and schematics; using and interpreting testing and measuring devices; and proper handling, use, and disposal of hazardous waste and materials.
Education: High school diploma, or equivalent, with successful completion of related military or commercial courses. Courses in basic electronics, mathematics, general science, physics, and mechanics are desirable.
Other: Normal color vision as defined in AFI 48-123, Medical Examinations and Standards is mandatory for this specialty.
Responsibility: Performs requirements in accordance with the procedures established in the PWS. Performs diagnosis and corrective actions, disassembles, inspects, evaluates, and accomplishes necessary repairs, lays out work according to technical instructions and technical directives. Determines what repairs, modifications, and part replacements are required. May be required to verify work performed by another for which he/she is qualified to perform.

Three or more years' experience on F-15 aircraft
Advanced Corrosion Control Course
Basic Qualifications:

One year's experience on F-15 aircraft

Employees will receive a minimum health and welfare fringe benefit of $2.65 for every hour paid up to 40 hours per week.

* Correctly read and record information and registered readings on analog or digital Kilowatt-hour meters.
* Complete Monthly Apprentice Cards and submit to local supervision for review.
* Perform similar or less skilled work as assigned.

* DIRECT SUPERVISION - When a qualified person is working with hands-on with the person performing the designated task.
* IMMEDIATE SUPERVISION - When a qualified person is near the structure/equipment and is in constant visual and/or verbal contact to the person performing the designated task.
* GENERAL SUPERVISION - An employee of higher classification, knowledgeable of the task at hand and not necessarily at the job site.
* QUALIFIED PERSON - Line Mechanic or Supervisor who is knowledgeable of the task or work to be performed and is capable of performing the appropriate emergency rescue.
What We're Looking For:
Education:
* High school diploma or GED
Experience:
* No experience required. Line work experience or line school education is preferred.
Licenses/Certifications:
* Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license. Employee shall obtain appropriate licensing as required by federal and/or state law prior to the end of the designated probationary period. Must acquire CDL beginners permit within 60 days.
* Must have the ability and desire to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to perform the duties and/or responsibilities of the key job (Line Mechanic A) in this family and be qualified through demonstration, examination and/or performance appraisal as determined by the Company.
* Must acquire within such time frame as determined by the Company, the qualifications necessary to perform the duties of the next higher classification in the line of progression or vacate the current job classification.
* This job requires "recommended" test results from HireVue Line Worker Virtual Job Tryout. This assessment is completed online, is untimed, and typically takes about 45 minutes to complete. Please refer to the Employment Test Prep section of our website *************************************
* A physical abilities assessment is also required for this position.
Drive Time Requirement:
* Successful candidate must live or be willing to relocate within 45 miles of the Columbus SW Service Center (1770 Georgesville Road Columbus, Ohio 43228)
