Peter has been Chief Financial Officer of ControlRad, Inc. since October 2019. Prior to that, he was Chief Financial Officer of Carticept Medical, Inc. since co-founding the company in 2005 through October 2019, and Cartiva, Inc., from its spinoff from Carticept in 2011 through its acquisition by Wright Medical in October 2018 for $435 million. He is responsible for strategic finance, accounting, business development and human resources and administration. He has spent the last 25 years in senior financial roles throughout the healthcare industry, including hospital services, biologics, pharmaceuticals and medical devices. He currently serves on the board of directors of Alimera Sciences, Inc. (Nasdaq: ALIM), where he chairs the audit committee and is a member of the nominating and corporate governance committee.Peter has been active in Atlanta business for over 30 years, with experience that includes financial and accounting management, mergers and acquisitions, public and private capital raising, treasury and risk management, banking and investor relations, SEC reporting and compliance, and entrepreneurial and start-up activities.
