Redwire Space Missions LLC has a current opportunity for an RF Engineer, Sr. Staff located at our facility in Littleton, CO. In this role you will have technical ownership of RF products and subsystems across the program lifecycle in support of Space Missions programs. This role includes defining RF subsystem architectures, specifications, and interfaces; performing analysis and verification; and leading end-to-end functional testing and performance demonstrations. You will collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams (systems, electrical, mechanical, software, and I&T) to deliver robust RF solutions for space applications.

Responsibilities
Own RF subsystem design and development from concept through qualification, delivery, and operations.
Define RF architectures, specifications, interfaces, and integration approaches for spacecraft and payloads.
Perform RF link analysis, system-level trades, and performance modeling to ensure mission requirements are met.
Lead and support hardware development, procurement, and testing of RF equipment (amplifiers, oscillators, frequency converters, antennas, transceivers, etc.).
Lead end-to-end functional testing and performance demonstrations, verification, and validation.
Support environmental and performance testing including EMI/EMC, thermal vacuum, and vibration.
Provide technical oversight for suppliers and partners delivering RF hardware.
Prepare and submit FCC 1494 forms and other regulatory filings as required.

Ideal Experience
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field, with 10 or more years of experience in RF engineering for aerospace or defense applications.
Experience with RF subsystem design, development, and lifecycle ownership.
Experienced with RF system architecture, link budgets, and performance analysis.
Familiarity with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, VNAs, signal generators, power meters, and oscilloscopes.
Previous experience with RF design and analysis tools (e.g., HFSS, ADS, CST, Matlab, STK, or equivalent).
Experience with spacecraft RF systems such as telemetry, tracking, and command (TT&C), payload communications, and RF distribution networks.
Knowledge of RF interfaces and standards such as S-band, X-band, Ka-band, RF/optical hybrid systems, and space-to-ground links.
Desired Skills
Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or related discipline.
Experience with conformal antennas, phased array antennas, beamforming techniques, and adaptive RF systems.

What we need you to bring to the team:

The Role

Who you are

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Roles and responsibilities for this job may include but are not limited to:
PLC and/or DCS configuration
Organize project data into manageable spreadsheets and databases
Human-Machine Interface (HMI) graphics development and SCADA configuration
Historian configuration
Perform I/O checkout on the installed control system and document the checkout results
Provide post-commissioning support to the client's operations, engineering, and maintenance personnel
Travel to the client's site as required. Extensive travel required.
The ability to provide after-hours telephone support on a rotating schedule.
Required Experience
10+ years experience maintaining automation systems and keeping production/operations running.
Annual Salary Range: $75,000 - $110,000 (with overtime available)
Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

About This Role:
We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Senior Electrical Project Engineer (Substation) to support the electrical scope of projects for our Power systems. This critical role will drive project execution, ensuring all electrical systems meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, execute within project timelines and budgets, and contribute to the successful deployment of cutting-edge technology solutions.

What You'll Be Working On:
Project Planning & Execution Support: Support development and execution of comprehensive project plans, including technical design, equipment and material specification ensuring budget and schedule alignment..
Contribute to regular project status meetings and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Electrical System Design & Engineering: Contribute to the design and specification of electrical systems for Power systems projects, including but not limited to power generation equipment , transformers, low, medium and high voltage cable and wiring.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards, codes, and regulations.
Develop and review technical documentation, drawings, and specifications.
Procurement & Installation Oversight: Manage the procurement of electrical equipment from vendors.
Oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical systems at field locations, both domestically and internationally.
What You'll Bring to the Team:
Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Industry Experience: Proven experience in industrial environments, with a preference for experience in power generation and distribution.
Oil & Gas Experience: Experience in the oil and gas sector is highly advantageous.
Technical Expertise: Electrical Engineering Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including power systems, control systems, and electrical safety standards.
Equipment Expertise: Experience with electrical equipment design, procurement, and installation.
Industry Standards: Familiarity with relevant industry codes and regulations (e.g., NEC).
Team Participation: Proven ability to be a contributing member in a high performing team
Analytical & Organizational Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Travel Flexibility: Flexibility to travel to field locations up to 25%, or as required.

Salary will be paid in the range of $130,000 - $155,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
