The position requires a level of technical expertise that supports serving as an independent reviewer on complex projects. **Key Responsibilities:** + Lead and manage transmission line engineering projects ranging from 69kV to 500kV from inception to completion. + Oversee the creation of computer models of overhead electric transmission lines and structures using PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and TOWER. + Assemble drawings, specifications, and design criteria for the procurement of tubular steel structures, lattice towers, and transmission line hardware. + Ensure projects meet client specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. + QA/QC of complete transmission line designs. + Performs engineering reviews and approval of projects prepared by others. + Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering and design teams. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals. + Occasional travel for site visits and client meetings as necessary. + Leads training and development of other engineers to provide technical guidance and training related to engineering design and code compliance issues around engineering expertise. + Develops new policies, standards, tools, and other technical items for company wide use and implementation. + Performs quality audits on client deliverables to ensure ENTRUST maintains our standard of excellence. **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field from an accredited university. + Minimum of 10 years of experience in transmission line engineering. + Must have a PE. + Proficiency in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE software. Coordinate and oversee the design, build or procurement and maintenance of all machine electrical and control systems. Define and document electrical control system requirements for equipment design to meet all expectations and RAGAGEPs including NRTL, OSHA, NEC and State of DE regulations. Ensure all new and existing equipment meet all applicable listing requirements. Ensure compliance with codes (NEC, IBC, NFPA 70, ASHRAE, IECC) and standards.
