Responsibilities:
Perform detailed design of low to extra-high-voltage substations and switchyards
Develop and/or revise existing drawings for one-line, physical arrangement, electrical schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, grounding, conduit and wire schedules, bill of materials, site development, battery sizing, and equipment layout, including coordinating with CAD operators to develop organized, quality CAD drawings
Integrate physical layout and design of substations to interface with protection and control drawings or vice versa
Develop control and relay panel layouts including assembling the specifications
Create project criteria
Develop design specifications including the overall bill of materials
Design and size auxiliary systems including AC/DC load centers as well as batteries and chargers

Base salary and/or rate of pay ranges listed are exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Individual compensation offers will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant candidate experience and skill, education, and/or qualifications.

Review customer specifications, product drawings, and related documentation to determine best overall control solution to meet or exceed customer requirements.
