Position Summary
The candidate will join the Automation Group to support the manufacturing of optical fiber by providing technical expertise in PC and PLC-based controls and automation. This role involves developing and maintaining PLC programs for production and facility equipment, troubleshooting daily production issues, and supporting improvement projects. The individual will also assist in commissioning new equipment, ensure proper backups of all programs and critical files per plant standards, and provide occasional off-hours support.
