Summary
We have a current opportunity for an Electrical Engineer located at our new facility in Georgetown, IN. We are looking for someone who is excited about commercial space and the challenges of operating commercial electronics in the harshness of space. The candidate will be involved in all aspects of circuit design including digital and analog design, test and analysis.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the design, build and test of space-based electronics for multiple projects
Electronic circuit design with layout using ECAD software
Design VAC and VDC analog circuits, up to 250V. Designs may include sensors and components connected by ADC and DAC circuitry.
Design digital circuits with microcontrollers and high-speed communication. This may include protocols such as I2C, CAN, RS-232, RS-422, USB and Ethernet.
Design electromechanical systems that may include step motors, DC motors, miniature solenoids, miniature pumps, feedback sensors and switches. Knowledge of control system principles and feedback loops.
Design electronics for high-reliability and EMI sensitive environments. Knowledge of EMI/EMC/ESD standards and testing.
Proving out a design using simulation and mathematics
Interacting technically with customers and product/project management
Compile information and documentation for design reviews, verifications, and presentations
Conduct applicable reviews, meetings, and technical presentations
Ideal Experience
Bachelors Degree in an Electrical Engineering discipline, or other related Field
Minimum 2+ years of experience designing electronic circuits using ECAD based programs
PCB/Layout experience
Simulation experience using a Spice based tool

Scope
The ControlsEngineer is responsible for troubleshooting and improving PLC, HMI, and robotic manufacturing equipment throughout the factory. Summary/Objective: The ControlsEngineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and support of control systems for advanced manufacturing equipment. Required Experience:
5 years of direct experience as a controlsengineer working on automated processes, equipment, and system integration in a manufacturing environment.
