JOB SUMMARY: The Controls Engineer II is responsible for the advanced support of all phases of a controls project to include concept and research, estimating support, component selection, network design, panel design, layout, device troubleshooting, PLC and HMI programming; on-site installation and debug; and after-sales support while working with minimal supervison. This person will be part of the Electrical Engineering team, which is responsible for developing designs for electrical, instrument, and control systems and performing a variety of computer-based modeling, design, engineering, and planning tasks on projects. C&I is a full-service engineering design firm providing engineering/design/project management, and procurement services to various clients in oil & gas, food & beverage, and distilled spirits. Responsibilities include: The Staff Instrumentation & Controls Engineer will be responsible for leading multi-disciple projects, including directing and monitoring support staff. Helping develop P&IDs and creating typical electrical and instrument design documents.
