Description Of Duties & Scope
Close support of senior project management team.
Develop project teams while delivering quality output, meeting customer expectations, managing to scope, delivering on time, and delivering within budget.
Develop and support project management techniques and schedule goals, procurement and contractual requirements, personnel assignments, and capacity planning.

Proactively and systematically communicate challenges, risks, and successes.
Oversee monthly invoicing process per project terms and negotiate appropriate change orders.
Coordination with Site Superintendent(s) to understand and assess installation methods, labor needs, and manpower forecasts.
Close support and oversight on adherence to the Quality Control process.
Close support to ensure that all downstream team members are meeting deadlines on assigned tasks.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of project engineer experience in heavy commercial/private electrical construction.
Understand engineering in electric power.
Field experience coordinating with construction management.
Extensive knowledge of project scheduling, bids, take-offs, change orders and contracts.
Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and assist in winning projects.
Demonstrated ability to closely support the running of a profitable portfolio.
Exceptional initiative, execution, and communication skills, both oral and written.

As the Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge control systems for the chemical processes in our proprietary lithium-ion battery recycling facility and primary resource extraction technologies. The successful candidate will work closely with our R&D team, the plant operations team, and various internal and external experts to ensure the effective design, construction, and operation of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess experience in the research & development, design, installation, commissioning, and operation of innovative facilities. A passion for designing, implementing, and maintaining efficient automation systems for chemical manufacturing processes is essential, as is a commitment to ensuring quality control of outputs, specifying the necessary equipment, and developing and deploying monitoring protocols. What You Will Need:

THE JOB
We are looking for a Senior Robotics Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of next-generation intelligent robotic systems. You will play a key role in architecting robust solutions across computer vision, robotic motion planning, and embedded AI. As a senior team member, youll be expected to guide complex technical decisions, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across hardware, software, and systems engineering.

THE DAY-TO-DAY
Depending on your technical strengths, your daily responsibilities may include:
Computer Vision Leadership
Architect and optimize algorithms for object detection, segmentation, 3D pose estimation, and grasp prediction in real-world scenarios.
Drive the development and deployment of high-performance vision models on embedded systems (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson, Edge TPU).
Oversee data pipeline management including dataset curation, augmentation strategies, and annotation workflows.
Advanced Motion Planning & Control
Develop and validate high-precision robotic arm models (forward/inverse kinematics, dynamics).
Implement advanced trajectory optimization (e.g., RRT, CHOMP, MPC) and sensor fusion for robust control in uncertain environments.
Innovate in grasp planning and adaptive force control for challenging manipulation tasks.
Embedded AI Integration
Lead the integration and deployment of edge AI models with low-latency response times.
Develop custom hardware drivers and real-time communication protocols (e.g., CAN, EtherCAT).
Architect embedded system frameworks that ensure modularity, reliability, and scalability in robotics applications.
Technical Leadership & System Integration
Serve as the technical lead in cross-functional projects, aligning software, electronics, and mechanical systems into unified robotic platforms.
Review and approve critical design decisions, conduct code reviews, and define system architecture standards.
Collaborate closely with R&D and Product teams to translate concepts into commercially viable robotic solutions.

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of hands-on experience in computer vision, robotic motion control, or embedded AI systems.
Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following:
Motion: ROS/ROS 2, D-H modeling, RRT/CHOMP, force control strategies.
Embedded: Jetson/RPi, C/C++, ONNX, CAN/EtherCAT protocols.
Full-cycle experience in robotic system deployment, from algorithm design to real-world operation.
Strong software engineering discipline (e.g., version control, code testing, modular design).
Preferred Qualifications
Masters or Ph.D. in Robotics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Experience leading technical teams or mentoring engineers.
Proven success in multi-sensor fusion and real-time system design.
Publication, patents, or open-source contributions in robotics or AI.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Able to promote and market programming scope to new and existing clients.
Mentor junior controls engineers.
Able to generate and maintain full project life cycle documentation.

Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science from an accredited university or equivalent experience.
