We are seeking a **Senior Transmission Line Engineer** who will work as a member of a dynamic team working in a fast paced environment, solving challenging problems involved with electric transmission. The successful candidate will serve as an Engineer on electric transmission line design projects for high-voltage (HV) and extra high-voltage (EHV) overhead and underground systems for some of the largest utilities in the country. This person will apply NESC, ASCE, ACI and other applicable standards in the engineering and design of electrical overhead and underground systems, voltage conversion projects, new capacity projects, and infrastructure replacement projects. • CANDIDATES WITH ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE ONLY!!! • Researches and designs electrical systems for integration into various fixed wing platforms. • Interpret customer requirements to research, develop and document electrical designs using applicable industry Skills Mandatory: • Ability to work under little or no supervision • Familiarity with SAE AS50881 design guidelines • Understanding of ANSI/ASME Y14.100 or related design and drafting standards • Ability to perform electrical analysis (loads analysis, RF analysis, worst case circuit analysis) • Ability to create and review all electrical drawing types (schematics, cable harness, etc) • Experience with AutoCAD or similar 2D design software tools • Demonstrated previous success working in a team based environment to meet objectives • Strong communication skills, both oral and written • Active DoD secret level clearance Desired: • Familiarity with C130 or other fixed wing aircraft • Experience with programming environments Labview and/or Matlab • Experience with the an engineering change process and/or configuration control process • Experience with Catia V5 or other modern 3D parametric modeling program Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
