Responsibilities

Substation Design & Drafting: Develop electric substation drawings, including single line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, control panel layouts, and control building layouts. Work closely with the Civil Engineering department to develop substation foundation and structure drawings
Engineering Analysis & Calculations: Perform substation design calculations and analysis such as ground grid analysis and design, lightning protection, voltage drop, and conduit fill. Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
Minimum of 6 years of experience in Substation engineering, with a primary focus on executing protection and control projects

Basic understanding of SCADA design
Experience with SEL AcSELerator, MicroStation, and AutoCAD
Strong familiarity with NESC, IEEE, and other applicable codes and standards

Responsibilities
* The Project Engineer will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager in the successful management of commercial mechanical, electrical and plumbing projects, while gaining skills and experience needed to become a Project Manager.
* Assist Project Manager (PM) with total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design specifications, budget and schedule.
* Interface with client representatives, subcontractors, vendors, etc.
* Review, select, and submit project documents in collaboration with PM and project supervision and in accordance with the construction schedule (Ex. Submittals, shop drawings, RFI's, subcontracts, operation and maintenance manuals, etc.).
* Provide field employees with the necessary support to allow the project to be completed expeditiously.
* Assist PM in extra work estimating and issuance of change orders.
* Assist PM with equipment releases and tracking.
* Support construction project meeting attendance and documentation.
* Act as liaison between trades and other departments within the company.
* Distribute, follow up, and respond in writing to all punch list items in a timely manner.
* Conduct on site visits to gain field experience required to ascertaining productivity of trades, efficient use of materials and equipment, and contractual performance of the project.
* Gain industry knowledge to provide technical assistance and support, i.e., engineering, interpretation of drawings, recommendation of construction methods and equipment, etc., as required.
* Participate in weekly staff and project management meetings.
* Perform additional tasks assignments per PM and Regional Manager's direction to support branch and company operational efforts.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent combination of previous construction and/or engineering office related experience.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook & Excel.
* This position requires the ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis. The employee must be able to perform tasks involving physical labor, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying materials, tools, or equipment. Pharmaworks is seeking a talented Senior Electrical Controls Engineer to be responsible for designing the controls panels and other electrical systems that drive thermoforming and packaging equipment.
Includes preparing technical drawings and specifications of electrical systems. Successful candidate will be responsible for design, review and issuance of required electrical schematics that detail power supply, Programmable Logic Control (PLC) and accompanying Human Machine Interface (HMI) screen logic.
* Apply electrical engineering knowledge to machinery principles and materials, manufacturing methods and processes to ensure that designs are functional, practical, economical, safe, meet required codes and satisfy customer operating requirements.
* Interface with senior engineers, project managers and occasionally customers to understand and clarify specifications and project design objectives.

Who we're looking for?

* Experience with PLC Logic using Rockwell, Beckhoff, Siemens, ABB or equivalent.
* Experience with Microsoft SQL databases, generating reports and control system integration.
* Experience with EPlan (preferred), AutoCAD Electrical or Solidworks Electrical.
* Experience with Factory Talk (preferred), Indusoft or Aveva products.
* Experience selecting and sizing servo drives.
