What To Expect Day-To-Day:
Leads the project team to create an action plan for the development and project completion of assigned engineering projects, ensuring projects remain within a specified budget and schedule.
Responsible for bringing project from the design stage through to completion with multiple project team members.
Interacts and works directly with clients, conducts preliminary evaluations, prepares various reports, produces detailed technical specifications and drawing packages, and prepares permit submittals for engineering projects.

Coordinates with the project team regarding RFIs, submittals, contract modifications, and other changes to the project.
Analyzes processes and systems to identify ways to improve efficiency, increase quality, and reduce costs.
Collaborates with the Project Managers to identify and troubleshoot problems.
Coordinates with other engineering departments when necessary.
Participates in site visits, agency meetings, and municipal meetings as needed.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE QUALIFIED:
Water and Wastewater Experience.
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
Professional Engineer registration or the ability to acquire registration quickly through reciprocity.
15 years' professional experience required.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
Design and plan production experience utilizing AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical and/or Revit is required.
Experience with Arc Flash software such as eTap or SKM is required.
Extensive knowledge of the NEC.
The ability to balance multiple work assignments on multiple projects at the same time is required.
The ability to work alone but also effectively as part of a team is required.
Requires process-oriented thinking with strong organizational and technical skills.
Requires excellent communication, and the ability to take and understand directives from Project Engineers and Project Managers.
The ability to complete work consistently, with moderate flexibility to accommodate varying demands from Project Managers is required.
Prefer candidates with US BASED experience in acquiring permits from review agencies on a local, state, and federal level, including direct coordination and communication.

Responsibilities
* The Project Engineer will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager in the successful management of commercial mechanical, electrical and plumbing projects, while gaining skills and experience needed to become a Project Manager.
* Assist Project Manager (PM) with total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design specifications, budget and schedule.
* Interface with client representatives, subcontractors, vendors, etc.
* Review, select, and submit project documents in collaboration with PM and project supervision and in accordance with the construction schedule (Ex. Submittals, shop drawings, RFI's, subcontracts, operation and maintenance manuals, etc.).
* Provide field employees with the necessary support to allow the project to be completed expeditiously.
* Assist PM in extra work estimating and issuance of change orders.
* Assist PM with equipment releases and tracking.
* Support construction project meeting attendance and documentation.
* Act as liaison between trades and other departments within the company.
* Distribute, follow up, and respond in writing to all punch list items in a timely manner.
* Conduct on site visits to gain field experience required to ascertaining productivity of trades, efficient use of materials and equipment, and contractual performance of the project.
* Gain industry knowledge to provide technical assistance and support, i.e., engineering, interpretation of drawings, recommendation of construction methods and equipment, etc., as required.
* Participate in weekly staff and project management meetings.
* Perform additional tasks assignments per PM and Regional Manager's direction to support branch and company operational efforts.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent combination of previous construction and/or engineering office related experience.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook & Excel.
* This position requires the ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis. The employee must be able to perform tasks involving physical labor, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying materials, tools, or equipment. Manual material handling must be performed in accordance with OSHA safety standards and company policies to minimize risk of injury.

About the Position:
In the Field Controls Engineer role, you will support the Florida Technical Support Center (TSC) in resolving system issues, conduct controls-related services at customer sites, prepare equipment for installation, perform water system startup, and complete critical project documents. Troubleshoot system issues with TSC personnel
Conduct controls related repair, maintenance, or calibration services at customer sites

Working Conditions:
Usual office working conditions at Pureflow TSC in Lakeland, FL. Occasional travel is required to visit a client's office, production facility or industrial/construction job site. Conditions vary at each location.
The regular hours for Pureflow engineering staff are Monday through Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm, and as an Engineer, you will work to fulfill responsibilities to clients and PFI support staff.
Travel and overnights are expected in the business and are subject to requests and approval by your Manager. Overnights generally average 4-8 per month (or 25%) and will occasionally include weekends. Due to ongoing project workload and training opportunities, overnights will initially be higher than average. Overnights may be consecutive depending on project site location and requirements.
