The Senior Engineer will serve as a technical representative of Telex in a variety of public and corporate settings. ESSENTIAL DUTIES, FUNCTIONS, AND RESPONSIBLITIES: Develop/finalize reports and work plans, recommend action, and consider short/long-range objectives and economic and budget considerations. Develop and coordinate departmental project work plans and manage through completion, redirecting when necessary. Lead development of work plans and monitor actual progress of applicable portions, taking any corrective action required. Function as a technical representative in customer, vendor, and contractor meetings. Provide work directions to other staff/contractors on projects as assigned. Manage multiple assignments while training, developing, and mentoring less experienced engineers and other staff. Oversee and/or complete preparation of estimates (cost, work order, schedules).
