Where is the work: On-site (5 days) What you will do: * Responsible for commissioning, programming, setting up graphics, communications link, end to end testing, troubleshooting and servicing on assigned projects. * Responsible for documenting point to point verification, sequence of operations validation and job close out requirements. * Represents the company by serving as the direct customer contact and is responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction by identifying, diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems at customer's location. * Coordinates with team leader and customer to precisely understand requirements for all on-site installation and repairs by forecasting issues, gathering materials and synchronizing on-site work. * Keeps current on Trane products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair of direct digital control systems. * Continually enforces safety to the highest standards and maintains security and accountability of company issued and procured assets by recording use, wear and conditions. * Displays team effort and dedication to customers by maintaining flexibility to work overtime and weeks as the business requires, including occasional overnight stays. What you will bring: * A High School Diploma or equivalent required, and typically at least 3-5 years of experience in HVAC/Controls. Technical School or formal training is preferred. * Operating knowledge of Microsoft office software and working proficiency with hand held computer (i.e. Smartphone, iPad). * Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to: * DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years. * Previous experience with DDC controls system preferred. An IT Consulting Firm based in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Access Control technician to install, terminate, and test low voltage cabling for their Field Operations in New Mexico. They will join a team of 6 and oversee all install and support for Access Control systems for video surveillance cameras, door hardware, control panels, etc. Pulling cables, securing cables, and labeling cables in correct ceilings, walls and pathways will be part of the role as well. Upon installation, test cabling using approved testing equipment and documenting the results will be required as well. This position is a full-time hire but on a 4/10 schedule. About Our Team The Above Ground Testing (AGT) Accelerator Operations (1332) department is responsible for the operation of the Saturn, HERMES III, and SPHINX pulsed power accelerators. The primary objective of the department is to provide an applied research environment for the study of radiation effects on materials and electronics. The three accelerators generate electrical pulses of up to 20 million Volts and up to 12 million Amperes with nanosecond duration in order to create extremely intense pulsed radiation environments for the study of radiation effects sciences. Department 1332 also conducts pulsed power research and development to: improve radiation source fidelity, increase the output and fluence, as well as to improve the overall reliability and reproducibility of the accelerators. About Our Team: The Above Ground Testing (AGT) Accelerator Operations (1332) department is responsible for the operation of the Saturn, HERMES III, and SPHINX pulsed power accelerators. The primary objective of the department is to provide an applied research environment for the study of radiation effects on materials and electronics. The three accelerators generate electrical pulses of up to 20 million Volts and up to 12 million Amperes with nanosecond duration in order to create extremely intense pulsed radiation environments for the study of radiation effects sciences. Department 1332 also conducts pulsed power research and development to: improve radiation source fidelity, increase the output and fluence, as well as to improve the overall reliability and reproducibility of the accelerators. About the Role You will be responsible for the assembly, wiring and plumbing on electromechanical systems. Systems include vacuum, power generation, pulse forming section and oil system. You must be able to read mechanical and electrical drawings to be able to assemble, field and troubleshoot these complex systems. Job Requirements Assemble racks, HV/LV harnesses, enclosures, panels, and motion/actuation subsystems. Install pumps, valves, seals, gauges; leak-check and maintain oil and vacuum systems. Mount sensors, route signal cabling, and bring up data acquisition system (DAS)-oscilloscopes, probes, DMMs, and troubleshoot connection issues. Calibration Technician I will be associated with basic calibration, quality, customer service, and operational requirements associated to the technicians assigned section. Taskings will be done in direct coordination with the Calibration Technicians II and III as well as the Lead Technician of the defined disciplines assigned.
