Daily Engagement of workforce through direction of work assignments, compensation, communication, recognition, development and coaching, etc…
Manage the workflow process associated with electronics and some electromechanical areas of the facility, including the ASRS system
Develop preventative maintenance procedures to maintain equipment associated with electronics and limited electromechanical equipment throughout the facility; including the management of parts inventory and corrective actions

Engineering Technician I Job Responsibilities:
Assemble, test, and diagnose scroll compressors, vacuum pumps, and expanders with direct oral or written instructions, using engineering drawings as provided by the project engineer
Assist Design Engineers with tasks such as developing and documenting assembly procedures
Provide guidance to production assemblers on assembly and test procedures
Wire compressors and vacuum pumps to controllers under supervision, using motor and controller drawings
Assist engineers in designing, building, and maintaining test stands based on project specifications
Assemble and install mechanical components, fixtures, and instrumentation on test stands
Perform electrical wiring and ensure proper connections for test equipment and data acquisition systems
Conduct pressure checks on equipment, compressors, and pumps as directed
Perform maintenance of test stands and assembly cells

What You'll Do:

Providing service and installation for HVAC mechanical systems and building automation systems. Working in commercial offices, light industrial, hotel & hospitality, health care and critical facility operations.
We have an immediate opening for a HVAC BAS Controls Technician to join our team!
This individual will utilize programming tools, standards and procedures, and their knowledge of building systems and applications to develop program instructions for DDC controllers and front-end user interface on projects and will work alongside Project Managers and Field Technicians assigned to a project to fulfill the project requirements. Programming will include the setup of user interface and/or browser-based systems using the Niagara Framework. The ideal candidate will be able to incorporate a sequence of operations into a device and/or workstation application that meets all project requirements.

Job Title: HVAC BAS Controls Technician
Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 4:00 pm
Pay Rate: $36.00 - $45.00 per hour, depending on experience
What you will be doing:
Under minimal supervision, complete assigned projects, programming, and commissioning and project turnover per contract obligations.
Act as a technical resource to the project's team and customer, as needed.
Assist with solutions to systems problems, either troubleshooting the system or advise others on how to resolve problems.
Assist in performing required commissioning documentation.
Provide accurate information for closeout documents including redlines for as-built drawings.
Provide customer or end-user training on system operation.
Report problems or changes to supervisor or management
Perform self-study (reading, research, and practice) to obtain technical proficiency on required products and application.
Adhere to safety standards and local and national codes, with a high degree of regard to employee and subcontractor safety.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years' experience with DDC, building automation systems or other control systems.
2- or 4-year degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field is preferred but not required.
Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
HVAC service experience
Knowledge of software and computer language used to operate Tridium Niagara Framework (Java/HTML). Niagara AX/N4 certification is a plus.
Knowledge and understanding of various communications protocols used in the industry including BACnet, Lonworks and Modbus.
Strong computer skills, and networking/ IT fundamentals.
Travel based on job and customer needs - Travel is typically regional

will be between $34 & $40 Depending on experience Night Shift: Starting at 5:00 PM Additional $2/HR for Shift Differential for Wednesday-Sunday
This position is responsible for maintaining electrical and mechanical systems on all automation equipment. (S)he will be responsible for troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems and implementing corrective and preventative measures.
Follow all required work safe practices. This would include compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, wearing of all required PPE in designated areas, confined space safety, safe chemical handling, fall restraints, etc.
Essential Duties:
Repair and maintain a variety of equipment and perform preventative maintenance on distribution center and/or manufacturing equipment
Use diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot, analyze and predict upcoming failures
Dismantle machines and equipment to gain access to problem areas
Operate metalworking machines such as bench lathes, milling machines, punch presses, and drive presses to fabricate housings, fittings, jogs and fixtures
Inspect and measure parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other problems
Remove and/or replace worn or defective parts
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Preferred
2+ years of commercial or industrial maintenance experience or experience in a related field
Experience with low and high voltage electrical systems
Demonstrated understanding of operating principles of frequency drives, servos, electrical and PLCs
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot PLCs, I/O and VFDs
Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which may be subject to evenings, weekends and holidays.
Must be able to frequently reach up to 31-77 inches.

Manage the workflow process associated with electronics and some electromechanical areas of the facility, including the ASRS system
Develop preventative maintenance procedures to maintain equipment associated with electronics and limited electromechanical equipment throughout the facility; including the management of parts inventory and corrective actions
Manage safety culture through training and observations
Liaison to contractors and Utilities department for projects and work orders
Develop and update PLC and HMI programs as required based on established guidelines and controls for this type of equipment
Required Qualifications
