Technician III will work on conveyors, AMRs, robotic systems, automated transfer equipment, and PLC-based control systems, performing corrective and preventive maintenance (PM), equipment modifications, and complex repairs. This role takes a lead position in problem-solving, supports optimization of automation systems, coordinates with production and vendors, and provides guidance and training to junior technicians. Responsibilities: Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on factory automation equipment and control systems to maintain optimal operating condition. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues on automation equipment (conveyors, lifters, alignment units, AMR charging stations, robotic cells, sensors, PLC-controlled modules). Support equipment modifications, upgrades, and part replacements to improve reliability and extend equipment life. Respond to equipment alarms and breakdowns quickly to minimize downtime and support continuous production. Lead equipment-related meetings, contribute to root cause analysis (RCA), and participate in continuous improvement activities (Kaizen). Support audits, vendor visits, and facility tours by explaining automation systems, maintenance strategies, and reliability improvements.
