We are seeking a highly skilled, entrepreneurial-minded DDC Energy Management Technician to help establish and lead a turn-key controls division within our growing HVAC company. This individual will play a pivotal role in developing innovative solutions for building automation, leveraging our in-house electrical and mechanical teams to deliver seamless, integrated control systems. The ideal candidate is experienced in open architecture DDC systems (e.g., BACnet, Modbus, LON), knowledgeable in major OEM platforms (Trane, JCI, Schneider, Siemens, etc.), and capable of designing and executing small to mid-sized projects from concept to completion. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Design and implement DDC/EMS solutions for commercial HVAC systems using open-protocol controls. Collaborate with in-house mechanical and electrical divisions to deliver fully integrated, turnkey control projects. Program, commission, and troubleshoot building automation systems using platforms like Trane Tracer, JCI Metasys, Schneider EcoStruxure, Siemens Desigo, etc. Interpret project specifications, sequences of operations, and construction drawings to develop control strategies.
