What you will be doing:
Perform service and regular preventative maintenance work on conveyor systems including fabricate, install and repair conveyor systems as planned while keeping appropriate maintenance records.
Test and trouble shoot problems with equipment, conveyors, sortation system, carton erectors, shrink sleeve applicator machine, facility systems (plumbing, electrical), and anything else associated with the operation of a distribution facility

Minimum 15 years of maintenance experience in a production/plant environment, preferably with factory automation systems.
Experience working in dry-room environments and following gowning/PPE requirements.
High School Diploma/GED required; Associate degree or vocational/technical certification preferred.
Strong mechanical and electrical technical knowledge and hands-on experience with industrial equipment.
Experience with automation/FA equipment (conveyors, robotics, AMRs, automated transfer systems) strongly preferred.
PLC experience (Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, or similar) preferred but not required; ability to understand basic logic flow and I/O.
Must be able to regularly use required PPE (safety glasses, steel-toe shoes) for up to 12 hours.

Skills:

Ability to analyze MES/SCADA log data for fault patterns and root cause analysis.
Knowledge of industrial sensors, actuators, motors, robots, AMRs, and I/O devices.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, PLC I/O lists, and equipment manuals.
Strong communication skills and ability to lead, mentor, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

As a Field Service Technician II Building Automation Controls Technician here at Honeywell Building Automation (BA), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of building automation systems. You will be accountable for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting HVAC, fire, and alarm control systems. Your expertise in building automation controls, including Tridium Niagara systems, will contribute to the overall energy efficiency, sustainability, and productivity of our customers' facilities.
You will report to the North America Field Service Manager and travel to the customer sites in the Western region 80% travel.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Install, program, and maintain building automation systems, including HVAC, fire, and alarm systems automation.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to building automation controls.
* Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure the optimal performance of automation systems.
* Work with cross-functional teams to implement system upgrades and enhancements.
* Provide technical facilitation and training to customers and field service engineers.
* Travel 80% in the Western United States, Assignments will vary in length from three weeks to six months.
YOU MUST HAVE
* 3 or more years of experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a diverse family of products in the building automation, fire, security and energy systems. In lieu of experience, a 4-year degree in computer science / networking maybe acceptable.
* Building Automation Systems or similar programming skills.
* Ability to meet the background check requirements for federal projects and restricted facilities.
* Valid Driver's license.

The annual base salary range for this position is $45,000-$62,400. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
