    General maintenance, installation, and repair of control equipment throughout the facility. All necessary repairs, adjustments, and modifications to electronic systems within the facility. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** + Must be able to read blueprints, electrical and electronic wiring diagrams and troubleshoot installed systems. + Use various electronic testing equipment in the troubleshooting of equipment malfunctions., or verbal instructions. + Utilize computers in monitoring and repairing installed systems and is able to remotely adjust system parameters. + Maintain the general cleanliness and appearance of assigned spaces and assists the maintenance team, as required, according to personal qualifications. + Must be fully knowledgeable of the required actions in the event of the loss of any of the regularly supplied utilities services. + Serves as the initial point of contact for the Facilities Department for all the building occupants to report maintenance requirements and inputs these requests into the facility's computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). + Assigns urgent and emergency work to the appropriate trade worker(s) and distributes routine work orders to the supervisors or individual trade lead. + Assists staff technicians in monitoring and analyzing the proper operation of the HVAC system (heating, cooling and airflow into all rooms of the hospital). + Reports on abnormal building system conditions to the appropriate supervisor or trade lead. + Makes all necessary changes to work orders in the CMMS and closes work orders upon completion. + Monitors all centrally monitored alarm systems that track power availability, temperature controls, and pressure requirements. The Electrical Control Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting electrical control systems within a facility. This role ensures that all systems operate efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall operation of building management systems. The position requires collaboration with other technicians and departments to support seamless operations and address any technical challenges that arise. **Essential Responsibilities** + Perform regular maintenance on pneumatic and electronic controls to ensure optimal performance. + Troubleshoot and repair any issues with AC/DC electronic systems, solid-state electronics, and DDC controls. + Operate and maintain Honeywell, Powers, and Carrier Building Management Systems or similar systems. + Collaborate with other technicians and departments to resolve complex technical issues. + Document all maintenance and repair activities thoroughly and accurately. + Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations. + Be available for rotational shift work, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, as required. **Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required** + High school diploma or GED equivalent, with technical or trade school graduation or equivalent apprenticeship in mechanical trades. + Thorough working knowledge of AC/DC electronic theory, solid-state electronics, DDC controls, and computer operations. + Familiarity with Honeywell, Powers, and Carrier Building Management Systems or similar systems. + At least five years of experience in maintenance and repair of pneumatic and electronic controls. + Ability to work effectively in both independent and team settings. + Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Willingness to work varied shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as necessary. + Must possess a SECRET security clearance at the start of the contract and be able to obtain the appropriate clearance within eight months. **Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands** + The position involves working in a variety of environments, which may include exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures. + Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, and lifting equipment or tools up to 50 pounds. + Mental demands include the ability to remain focused and attentive to detail while managing multiple tasks and troubleshooting complex issues. + The technician must be able to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines. + Other Responsibilities: **Safety** - Amentum enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe work environment.
