Key Responsibilities
Program, troubleshoot, and modify PLCs from scratch (primarily Allen-Bradley)

Support and maintain:

Vision camera systems
Automated conveyor systems
Diagnose and resolve electrical and controls issues on automated manufacturing equipment

Collaborate closely with maintenance, engineering, and production teams
Qualifications
1-25 years of controls experience (flexible based on technical skill level)

This position is for Machine Shop Rework CNC/Manual Technician within the Large Power Systems Division located in our Lafayette, IN facility. Machine Shop Rework CNC/Manual Technician are responsible for the rework of all machine shop production material. May also be asked to perform rework on a variety of purchased finished material. Program, set up, and operate CNC/Manual mills, lathes, or multi-axis machines to manufacture precision components.
Create, modify, and optimize CNC/Manual programs using G-code and CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, Gibbs CAM).
Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and CAD models to determine machining operations and tolerances.
Interpret and use MOP's, rework procedures, and acceptance criteria for all Value Streams
Select proper tooling, fixturing, and cutting parameters for efficient and accurate production.
Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, CMM, gauges).
Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to minimize downtime.
Maintain machines, tooling, and work area in safe and clean conditions.

Basic Qualifications:

Inspects, maintains, and uses all personal protective equipment required to perform job duties.
Maintains detailed computer records and organized document and record files for all activities as required.

Job Description
Job Summary:
Support laboratory instrumentation through qualification, maintenance, troubleshooting, and data management in a GMP-regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Instrument Qualification & Maintenance:
Perform and document qualifications for lab instruments (e.g., HPLC, GC, KF, UV-Vis).
Execute scheduled and post-maintenance qualifications and verify system readiness for open-access instruments.
Repairs & Troubleshooting:
Conduct urgent repairs on user-accessible components (e.g., lamps, pumps, seals, tubing).
Troubleshoot routine calibration-related issues and assist with instrument upgrades.
Software & Data Management:
Utilize chromatography data software (e.g., Empower) and input data into GMARS asset management system.
Maintain accurate instrument files, including work orders and qualification records.
Vendor & Client Coordination:
Escort vendors for on-site maintenance and coordinate service activities.
Interface with clients and project teams to support asset and data management functions.
Reporting & Metrics:
Document service activities and report on instrument performance metrics.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in life sciences (e.g., chemistry, biology) with 4+ years of relevant industry experience, or
MS/PhD in life sciences with 2+ years of relevant pharmaceutical industry experience.
Experience in a GMP space.
Experience with audits is highly beneficial.
Experience with change controls preferred.
Technical Skills:
Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new lab techniques.
Communication & Collaboration:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external teams.
Ability to assist vendors and clients in solving issues.

Full-time Description
The HVAC ControlsTechnician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of both HVAC Mechanical the HVAC automated control systems that regulate the machinery and equipment within our facilities. This role involves working with a variety of technologies, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems. The ideal candidate has strong Building Controls and HVAC problem-solving abilities and technical skills ,with a commitment to ensuring operational efficiency and safety.
Responsibilities
Installation and Maintenance: Install, configure, and calibrate new and existing Mechanical and control systems proficient with components, including sensors, actuators, and panels.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical problems with electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems to minimize operational interruptions.
Programming: Perform programming and modifications for PLCs, HMIs, and other control software as needed.
Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on both mechanical and control systems to preempt failures and optimize system reliability.
Collaboration: Work with engineers and other departments to implement new systems, execute upgrades, and provide on-site technical support.
Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate records of all maintenance, repair activities, system configurations, and project documentation. Update all reference drawings and documents when offices and buildings are changed/renovated.
Safety and Compliance: Ensure all control systems adhere to safety standards and regulations, including OSHA and National Electrical Codes.
Training: Assist in training IMCBA personnel on the technical aspects of new or modified processes and equipment.
Requirements
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. An Associate's degree or technical certification in HVAC, electrical engineering technology, automation, mechatronics, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: Proven experience in the installation and maintenance of HVAC equipment and control systems. Experience with specific systems like Johnson Controls, Trane Controls, and Automated Logic is preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
Strong knowledge of wiring standards and experience working with a range of AC and DC voltages.
Familiarity with various types of HVAC and Building equipment. Must be experienced with tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and calibrators.
