+ Automated Layer Picking System Equipment Owner (ALPS) Responsible for resolving faults and troubleshooting losses on the equipment to ensure the Automated Layer Picking System (ALPS) department runs smoothly. This may include but is not limited to resolving twisted pallets, resetting conveyors, resetting crane errors, manually restacking products if a spill occurs.
+ PilotManages workflow planning, work allocation, shipment planning, slotting, carrier assignment, customer service, work queue management across the warehouse.
+ Transportation PlannerEnsures the driver has an efficient flow from check-in to check-out of the site. They handle all driver concerns and escalations while driver is onsite. They also proactively plan for the arrival of the driver and ensure the driver is loaded and unloaded in a timely manner.
+ Automated Guided Vehicle Equipment Owner (AGV) Technicians who oversee recovering their equipment whenever errors occur as well as keeping their equipment at base condition. Recover any AGVs that error out, clean the AGVs, know when to take AGV out of service.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Plant Automation Controls Technician will install programs, maintains and troubleshoots automated and computer-controlled systems and robotic equipment. Key duties include diagnosing issues with electro-mechanical systems and PLCs, performing preventative maintenance, documenting procedures, collaborating with engineers, and ensuring safety standards are met. This role requires a strong foundation in electronics, mechanical systems, and computer programming.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
System Installation & Configuration:
Install and set up automated systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and robotic systems, to ensure proper communication and functionality.
Maintenance & Calibration:
Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on automated equipment to ensure optimal performance and calibrate machines for accuracy.
Troubleshooting & Repair:
Diagnose and resolve technical problems with control systems and electro-mechanical equipment on-site and remotely, sometimes by programming or replacing components.
Documentation:

Previous experience with manufacturing food and beverage or consumer packaged goods companies is strongly preferred.
Previous experience in plant operations strongly preferred.
Demonstrates problem-solving, decision making, troubleshooting, communications, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work with a team and influence diverse groups at various levels and across functions.
Ability to teach the fundamentals of electrical automation and control systems.
Strong knowledge and understanding of the primary codes and safety requirements applicable to controls safety systems, robotics, and power distribution equipment and systems.
Strong ability to utilize application, programming, and integration experience through a variety of hardware/software.
Experience with AB PLC / Rockwell Automation is plus.
Ability to troubleshoot PLCs at the code level and troubleshoot equipment and wiring.
Knowledge and experience in AutoCAD with the ability to create and read electrical & control schematics.
Strong understanding of low and medium voltage power distribution and associated equipment is preferred.
Must have knowledge of processing, packaging & facility systems.

Additional Information
The salary range for this role is $80,000-$110,000 (Annually). Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, and candidate skill set and experience. POSITION OVERVIEW
The Electrical Technician is responsible for performing intermediate-to-advanced level electrical tasks with minimal supervision. Non-destructive testing (NDT) technicians/specialists perform non-destructive tests on aircraft structures and components for flaws that could affect the aircraft or component with regard to airworthiness. JOB RESPONSIBLITIES

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

It requires occasional pushing, pulling, kneeling, and crawling. The position also involves great hand and eye coordination. WORK ENVIRONMENT

What you will do
Performs assigned system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools.
Troubleshoots and resolves basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and control problems.
Responds to basic warranty calls.
How you will do it
Loads system-level controller software. Performs basic commissioning and system diagnostics from system-level controllers to end devices (i.e., sensors, actuators, etc.) and completes all required commissioning documentation.
Keeps management and JCI contractor or customer informed of job progress and issues.
Calibrates systems requiring basic electronic test equipment.
Completes administrative tasks including but not limited to time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation.
Documents change and provide information for as built documentation.
Communicates with the JCI contractor or customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site.
Follows all safety standards and attends required safety training. High degree of regard to employee and subcontractor safety.
What we look for
Required
Demonstrated technical aptitude.
Able to use hand and power tools (i.e., drills, saws, etc.)
Basic computer skills required.
Attention to detail.
Effective communication and listening skills.
Depending on location, the mounting and termination of low voltage devices may have special licensing requirements.
Preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of HVAC systems.
HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $19.23-$24.52 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
