Job Summary:
This position is responsible for advanced maintenance and troubleshooting of factory automation equipment to ensure continuous and stable manufacturing flow.

Entry level Technician - Building Automation Controls
Controls technician job in Phoenix, AZ
As a Field Service Technician II Building Automation Controls Technician here at Honeywell Building Automation (BA), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of building automation systems. You will be accountable for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting HVAC, fire, and alarm control systems. Your expertise in building automation controls, including Tridium Niagara systems, will contribute to the overall energy efficiency, sustainability, and productivity of our customers' facilities.
You will report to the North America Field Service Manager and travel to the customer sites in the Western region 80% travel.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Install, program, and maintain building automation systems, including HVAC, fire, and alarm systems automation.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to building automation controls.
* Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure the optimal performance of automation systems.
* Work with cross-functional teams to implement system upgrades and enhancements.
* Provide technical facilitation and training to customers and field service engineers.
* Travel 80% in the Western United States, Assignments will vary in length from three weeks to six months.
YOU MUST HAVE
* 3 or more years of experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a diverse family of products in the building automation, fire, security and energy systems. In lieu of experience, a 4-year degree in computer science / networking maybe acceptable.
* Building Automation Systems or similar programming skills.
* Ability to meet the background check requirements for federal projects and restricted facilities.
* Valid Driver's license.
WE VALUE
* Niagara Tridium experience and/or certification.
* General computer network knowledge
* Experience working with open protocols (BACnet, Modbus, OPC, LON, etc.)
* Preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair experience
* Experience with SQL Programming, Tridium, Niagara, N4, EBI, or other Commercial Industrial Systems
The annual base salary range for this position is $45,000-$62,400. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
