NATURE OF WORK
This is advanced skilled work in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical/electronic, supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), continuous emission monitoring systems, instrumentation, and related electrical and electronic systems.
Work involves the performance of pneumatic, electrical and electronics work in making installations, maintaining, and repairs in connection with electrical systems, monitoring and control devices. The incumbent may generate and analyze data to be sent to state and federal environmental agencies. Assignments received orally or in writing from a superior and accompanied by sketches or blueprints. Work is performed with considerable independence and complex assignments may involve supervision of employees. More complex work is subject to inspection in process and upon completion for quality and conformance to trade standards. Supervision is received from an administrative superior. Supervision may be exercised over subordinate employees.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

How you will do it

What we look for
Required
Vocational School program or an associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning or similar field plus three years of industry experience in servicing electrical, electronic and/or mechanical systems in the HVAC industry.

2nd Shift (Monday-Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.)

Compensation: $32.06/hour ($30.06/hour + $2.00/hour shift differential for 2nd and 3rd Shift)

We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Technician to join our company. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipment that integrates electrical and mechanical systems. Responsibilities
Support installation and implementation of new test systems, equipment and instrumentation for assigned projects.
Conduct mechanical and process observations, gather technical data, and communicate findings to recommend system improvements.
Identify operational issues and lead fact-finding initiatives to develop solutions that improve efficiency and eliminate problems.
Repair, service, calibrate, and test systems such as air systems, electrical wiring, electrical assemblies, and hardware.
Assemble and disassemble equipment while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.
Collaborate and communicate effectively with cross functional teams to improve execution of tasks and share technical knowledge.
Operate hand tools, power tools and precision instruments effectively while adhering to safety protocols and maintenance standards.
May operate material handling equipment including forklifts, hoists, and other heavy machinery.

Qualifications
Skills and Abilities
Ability to read drawings, schematic diagrams, and electrical code.
Above average electrical and electronic experience.

Demonstrated Competencies
Strong analytical and evaluative skills to troubleshoot various precision equipment.
Must have regular and punctual attendance.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 60lbs.
This position requires walking, standing, twisting, reaching, bending, climbing, and lifting.
Must be willing and able to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends.
Experience: 1 year or more of combined electrical and mechanical work experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Education: High School diploma, or equivalent, or verifiable ability to perform essential job functions. 2-year vocational school in electrical mechanical related field or equivalent is preferred.
