What You'll Do:
As an Electromechanical Technician, you'll play a critical role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production machinery. You'll work with both mechanical and electrical systems across high-speed stamping presses, cold forming machines, and automated equipment in a dynamic production environment.
Maintain and troubleshoot electromechanical equipment using hand tools, welding equipment, and measuring devices
Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and ensure equipment reliability
Diagnose and resolve issues using technical documents such as blueprints, schematics, and manuals
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement
Follow safety protocols and use appropriate PPE
Support process improvements and participate in ongoing training
What You'll Need:
Technical degree in a related field, journeyman's card, or 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience

Your work week will either consist of 4, 10-hour night shifts (4 pm - 2 am) or 5, 8-hour shifts (4 pm - midnight) and may include overtime work, including weekends and holidays.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Provide general maintenance services throughout the facility with an emphasis on mechanical maintenance and electrical controls on printing-related equipment. Specifically sheet-fed and web presses, with UV coaters, dryers, chill systems, and blanket washers. As well as finishing equipment: binders, folders, die cutters, stitchers, poly wrappers, stackers, and building control systems.
Conduct diagnostic inspections, both preventative and proactive, and repair-type maintenance activities on all production-related equipment. To include shafted and non-shafted driven equipment.
Mechanically troubleshoot all equipment, including auxiliaries, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, fans, and blowers.
Knowledge and ability to work on AC and DC control systems, drives, and motors.
Utilize electrical and pneumatic schematics to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
Maintain equipment and component documentation for calibration, settings, and proper tolerances.
Required Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of 2 to 4 years of industrial maintenance experience in mechanical/electrical troubleshooting of industrial/manufacturing equipment. Preferably past education in an Industrial Maintenance program or Journeyman status.
Must be able to routinely and successfully troubleshoot production-related deficiencies and determine a plan to correct and prevent similar conditions through scheduled maintenance tasks.
Must be willing to support and promote company and departmental safety programs. Work with service orders, and standard operating procedures, while maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and vendors.
Work unsupervised and give directions to coordinate tasks with others.
Able to work overtime; available to perform on-call responsibilities.

The CNC Technician is a critical member of Boyd Allenton's manufacturing operations team. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide technical support to our CNC machining department. Essential Job Responsibilities * Develops CNC programs as required.
* Completes setup of all CNC jobs with required fixtures and tooling.
* Trains employees to set up and program CNC machines.
* Orders perishable tooling for the CNC machines.
* Approves CNC machine setups.
* Documents specific setups and processes as necessary.
* Attends any required Technical Team meetings.
* Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
* Supports and follows all QMS requirements.
* Observes all Boyd safety guidelines and OSHA procedures.

Required Qualifications

This role in summary
This position uses knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems to install, maintain, and repair electromechanical equipment. Duties include use of technical manuals, blueprints, and/or schematics to troubleshoot, correct and/or improve pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
Your responsibilities will include
* Adjust and maintain equipment processing parameters within outlined OEM specifications.
* Troubleshoot, adjust, repair, replace, calibrate, and install components of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Minimum requirements
* 3 years of industrial maintenance experience. Technical diploma and/or associates degree in relevant field preferred and/or a background with an emphasis on automated systems in a manufacturing environment.
* Mechanical aptitude and demonstrated ability to understand complex diagrams and schematics.
Preferred skills and experiences
* Associates degree in electromechanical technology or similar area.
* Demonstrated understanding of intermediate to advanced repair and maintenance techniques, practices, and standard mechanical functions.
* Basic understanding of industrial network communications.
* Basic machine preventative maintenance skills: lubricate, align, adjust, and clean mechanical equipment and perform other preventive maintenance tasks.
