The Automation Technician is responsible for a variety of responsibilities including the maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving automation, controls, and technology systems and equipment. You will be a facility wide resource. Essential Job Functions:

How you will do it

NATURE OF WORK
This is skilled work in the maintenance, repair, installation and troubleshooting of various types of electric metering equipment, street lighting, electric services, lift stations, civil defense sirens, traffic signals, transformers, substations, and related equipment.

About the role
The Electrical Technician is responsible to maintain, troubleshoot, calibrate and modify electrical and mechanical systems and equipment. The technician will document work completed on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment involved in the manufacturer and packaging of pharmaceutical products.
Role Responsibilities
* Maintain and modify electrical and mechanical systems within a GMP production environment.
* Perform complex mechanical and electrical troubleshooting of automated packaging, manufacturing and material handling equipment within a GMP working environment. Disassemble equipment to remove parts and make repairs. Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear. Repair and replace broken and malfunctioning components.
* Maintain PC applications for control systems. PLC programming for material handling systems, production equipment and packaging equipment.
* Perform complex troubleshooting and repair of process measuring devices involved in ensuring weight, temperature, humidity, speed, volume, count, length, pH, and other factors. Execute calibration procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability of GMP production equipment.
* Observe and test machinery and equipment. Analyse information obtained from operators to diagnose malfunctions and equipment problems. Troubleshoot and perform limited programming on electronic control systems.
* Research, write and revise technical documentation pertaining to production equipment.
* Provide technical assistance for investigations when equipment or system failure occurs, such as completing Root Cause Analysis.
* Document maintenance work following the ALCOA principles. Record repairs and maintenance performed. Record parts and materials used, and order new parts and materials as necessary.

The Engine Overhaul Technician performs maintenance, inspection, repair, and overhaul primarily on turbine engines, systems, and components, and a variety of other of aircraft engines as needed. The overhaul technician performs work in accordance with the engine manufacturer's specifications, Duncan Aviation approved procedures, and customer specifications, while maintaining a safe and clean work environment. In addition, the overhaul technician prepares and completes appropriate documentation in a timely manner.
Essential Job Functions
* With limited supervision, assists in high quality inspections, servicing, and maintenance of aircraft engines, systems, and components on a variety of aircraft engines using proper hand tools in a timely, clean, safe and professional manner with minimal rework. Orders general parts as needed.
* With limited supervision, prepares various documents for record keeping purposes, as required by Company policy and FAA regulations (i.e. turnovers, engine process sheets, personal training log, etc.). Demonstrates proficiency of Duncan Aviation work order system by completing accurate and timely discrepancies and corrective action statements, Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives (AD) and compliance statements.
* With assistance, locates and uses appropriate technical data and follows verbal instructions when accomplishing assigned maintenance tasks.
* Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Job Specific Requirements
* Licenses/Certificates: Airframe & Powerplant Certificate preferred; Fork Lift qualified; Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record; tool inventory per department tool list required
* Attendance: Regularly scheduled attendance required; overnight and short notice travel required; on-call 24/7 rotation
* Physical: Routinely lifts up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs.; reads small print; hears sounds associated with mechanical deficiencies; repetitive motion; works with moving parts and vibration; tolerates products, materials and fumes associated with component maintenance; tolerates working in confined spaces and heights above four feet; tolerates standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing and sitting
* Environmental: Tolerates working in extreme temperatures and in noisy environments
Education and Experience
Engine Overhaul Technician I:
* High School graduate or equivalent required
* Two years engine maintenance experience preferred
Engine Overhaul Technician II:
* High School graduate or equivalent required
* Two years aircraft engine maintenance related experience required
Engine Overhaul Technician III:
* High School graduate or equivalent required
* Five years aircraft engine maintenance related experience required
