Expected Hiring Range: $20.65 - $25.30 per hour

* Performs daily inspections, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and repairs of equipment and irrigation systems
* Monitors, schedules, and coordinates renovation and repair of irrigated landscape, including park, urban spaces, streetscapes, and medians.
* Consults with architects for new and renovation projects; designs irrigation systems renovations, new installations, and directs work teams during construction.
* Conducts irrigation water audits; recommends soil and horticultural practices for better use of water
* Reviews plans and specifications for layout and irrigation valve locations, controllers, and wiring.

* Plans and orders necessary parts and equipment and ensures appropriate supply stock is maintained.

* High school diploma or GED equivalency plus six months of additional education or training
* Over three years of progressive experience in landscape/irrigation, public works, parks maintenance or related field
An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience that provides the desired knowledge, skills & abilities to successfully perform essential functions may be considered.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
* Valid Arizona driver license
* Must complete both the Town of Marana background check and a motor vehicle records check
* Must complete a pre-employment physical including an audiogram and pass a 50-pound lift test
* Arizona Backflow Tester Certification or must obtain within 6 months of hire

What are the primary responsibilities in the Electronics Test Technician position?
Tests, troubleshoots, repairs, maintains, and installs a wide variety of electronic, mechanical, computer, laboratory, and scientific systems and/or equipment.
Assists in the development of procedures.
Observes, analyzes, and reports test data; and when appropriate, makes necessary repairs to equipment.
Utilizes various engineering and scientific drawings, manuals, and other related documentation in the performance of their tasks. May include configuration/data management.
What required background will make you successful?
HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training)
Ability to work directly from approved procedures, schematics, and assembly drawings as well as wiring diagrams
Ability to troubleshoot electronic circuits to component level and effectively identify failure trends.
Aid the team in isolating problems between the test environment the units under test and resolve as necessary.
Help select appropriate test equipment and configure it based on test specifications.
Effectively communicate technical issues to the engineering team regarding test reports
Ability to work in a fast-paced Repair/manufacturing/production test environment.
Must work well in a team environment.
Must be well versed in computer architectures and data protocols in order to facilitate networking/interfacing with test equipment
US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED
Preferred skills:
Experience in the use of computers and software applications (both desktop and technical)
Associates Degree in Electronic Sciences
Experience using a wide variety of electronic RF/Analog, High Voltage, Digital and other electronic test equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers and Power Meters.
Familiarity in these testing areas: Insertion Loss, VSWR, Phase, gain, SFDR, SNR, Harmonics, S-band, L-band and X-Band frequencies.
Experience inspecting CCAs to IPC 610A or equivalent

4 Month Contract Job Opportunity
Studies and records time, motion, methods, and speed to improve efficiency and establish a standard production rate in performance of maintenance, production, clerical, and other worker operations. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Coordinate with Production test cells to repair and/or upgrade existing equipment on daily basis to insure maximum test capability for production hardware movement. Also, perform preventative maintenance on equipment as scheduled. Work with Special Test Equipment systems and software engineers to learn the development processes and support new production STE installations and repairs. Must have basic technician skills such as troubleshooting electronics and PCs, generators and complex automatic test stands. Should be able to load computer software. Cable building, soldering and wire crimping skills are required. Mechanical experience with ovens and environmental chambers is a plus.

Requires a high school degree or its equivalent with 6-8 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
