A typical day in the life of a Provider, includes:
Collaborating with the center clinical staff to ensure patient care.
Providing treatment of illnesses and injuries; order labs and other diagnostic tests and prescribe medications for children and adults.

ConvenientMD is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. Your Impact
Patient Care & Triage: Conduct comprehensive patient triage by taking vital signs, documenting medical history, and performing observational examinations to identify immediate healthcare needs.
Assist with patient exams, ensuring all necessary equipment and documentation are prepared, while supporting providers during testing and procedures.
Clinical Procedures:
Perform diagnostic and testing procedures, including vision, hearing, drug screens, breath alcohol testing, spirometry, and more.
Execute point-of-care testing such as strep, flu, RSV, SARS-CoV-2, glucose, lipid panel, and urinalysis.
Provide cardiac and airway management, including ECGs, AED use, nebulizer treatments, and oxygen administration.
Deliver wound care assessments, immunizations, and medication administration per federal and state regulations.
Patient Engagement & Documentation: Assist with patient inquiries, communicate test results, and explain medication or therapy plans.
Maintain accurate electronic medical records, documenting patient histories and treatment details.
Observe and report changes in patients' conditions, taking necessary action as needed.
Clinic Operations:
Ensure medical instruments and equipment are clean, sterilized, and maintained per organizational policies.
Maintain a stocked and sterile workspace, supporting smooth clinic operations.
Collaboration with Clinical Team: Work closely with other members of the clinical team to ensure seamless coordination of patient care.
Communicate effectively and efficiently with providers and other healthcare professionals to relay patient information and updates.
Welcome and support the training of new team clinic team members.
Required Availability
Must be able to work 12-hour shifts in consecutive and or non-consecutive days:
For full-time: Must be able to work three (3) 12-hour shifts a week with at least four (4) shifts a month on a Saturday or Sunday.
For part-time: Must be able to work two (2) 12-hour shifts per week with at least two (2) shifts a month on a Saturday or Sunday.
For per diem: Must be able to work four (4) 12-hour shifts per month, ideally working one (1) shift each week.
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays.
If needed, must be able to work at a minimum of three (3) other ConvenientMD locations within a one (1) hour travel distance from your primary clinic.
Required to travel for training shifts which may occur outside of your primary clinic within a one (1) hour commute.
Who You Are
Education:
High school diploma or GED .
Certification and demonstrated prior experience:
State licensed practical nurse (LPN) with prior experience placing and monitoring IVs. For Maine and New Hampshire only, must be IV certified.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification:
American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification. We do not accept CPR, ACLS certifications, or online only classes.

A typical day in the life of a Provider, includes:
Collaborating with the center clinical staff to ensure patient care.
Providing treatment of illnesses and injuries; order labs and other diagnostic tests and prescribe medications for children and adults.
Demonstrating the ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient care appropriate to the age of patients.
Performing common urgent care procedures such as wound repair, abscess drainage, splinting, EKG and X-Ray interpretation.
Education & Experience:
Master's degree and Certification
Current State License in the center for which you are applying
Experience as a provider in emergency medicine or urgent care
Credentialed to see patients of all ages
Active DEA license with no restrictions
Current DOT certification or ability to become certified
Our centers are open 7 days per week
Full-time employees must work three shifts per week with rotating weekends
Part-time employee must work two shifts per week with rotating weekends
Per Diem employees must work a minimum of three shifts per month
Compensation ranges from $70 - $80/hr, based on experience.
