Handles incoming customer calls including service dispatching, tracking and scheduling of calls, call status tracking and call changes, entering new sites, modifying existing sites and handling all general inquiries as required. Creates and dispatches work orders as required for scheduling of planned maintenance and service, ensuring the customer deliverables and metrics are achieved. Attends weekly planning sessions, conducts weekly service paperwork reconciliation and performs weekly time sheet data entry. Monitors and follows up on subcontractor pricing; processes and approves invoicing. Administers the check in/checkout process of technicians in accordance with company safety policy and advises Supervisors of any issues to resolve. Accurately and promptly opens and closes purchase orders in finance system. Updates, populates, maintains and develops customer service platform to maximize customer service and satisfaction. Procures Parts/Materials for service work orders. Provides Service Quotes to customers with the assistance of the Service Supervisor. Schedules and follows up on all monthly maintenance customer accounts. This includes ensuring timely communication with contract customers, key customers and subcontractors. Meets monthly to discuss expiring contracts and reviews upcoming PM visits. Establishes and maintains a customer satisfaction follow up and call back procedure and provides senior management with appropriate feedback. Assists with customer satisfaction surveys. Accurately and on a timely basis, administers customer site maintenance, including adding new sites, adding flags and modifying customer site changes. Provides technicians with badging and access to customer sites. Ensures that the technicians have completed all customer specific training. Maintains a log for badging access and training. Provides administrative overflow support as and where required. This includes photocopying, filing, general typing correspondence, minutes. Acts as our customer's best service provider at all times thereby ensuring Convergint is the customer's first choice for service. Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required. Students will have the opportunity to gain technical experience supporting water, wastewater, and surface water projects. Students will work alongside Project Managers and Licensed Engineers on a range of planning and design projects from municipal engineering services to dam/levee inspection and rehabilitation. Responsibilities: Accompany staff during assessment or inspection of water, wastewater, and surface water facilities. Support engineering analysis and design, including use of software or calculation sheets to complete hydrology/hydraulics analysis, and design drawings. Support with preparation of design reports, technical memorandums, and construction specifications. Conduct data entry and analysis Support quantity take-off, cost estimate preparation, and material/equipment cost solicitation. Assist with field documentation, report generation, and administrative tasks as assigned. PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS Enrolled in a Bachelor or Master's degree program in Civil/Environmental Engineering with at least 1 year of college coursework. Interest in/prior internship in civil engineering. Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, or other drafting software preferred but not required. In this position, you will assist Project Managers with tasks including data review, site review, data analysis, civil engineering planning and design. You will also prepare hydrological & hydraulic calculations and modeling, assist with preparing technical reports, technical exhibits and design drawings. This role will expose you to a wide range of interesting applications under the supervision of experts and industry leaders in Water Resource Engineering. Responsibilities will include: Developing hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) models such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM-based programs, HY-8, and/or WinTR-55. Preparing plans, specifications and estimates and performing data collection and/or field work Analyzing and designing hydraulic structures and flow systems Preparing maps, exhibits and technical reports Coordinating technical changes with project team members Developing cost estimates and conduct quantity takeoffs for design projects Supporting team in the design of water resources and drainage projects such as stormwater management systems, pipe hydraulics, bridge hydraulics, scour, floodplain evaluations, roadway drainage design, NPDES permit compliance, and water quality BMPs. Working closely with internal and external clients as part of a multi-discipline team. Meeting with and effectively communicating with technical team, project partners, and project stakeholders to coordinate project tasks. PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related Engineering degree Engineer-in-Training (EIT) preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire 0-3 years of experience in related water resources design Must demonstrate excellent speaking, oral and written communication skills Computer skills (Microsoft Office) and experience with Bentley (MicroStation, Geopak, or Openroads). H&H modeling experience is a plus COMPENSATION The approximate compensation range for this position is $65,859 - $95,084 per year.
