Position Summary
A Cook is responsible for preparing ingredients at our food establishment to menu or customer specifications as well as providing a supportive role to all Sushi Chefs and Kitchen Staff. RCC clients often display acute behaviors and have multiple cognitive or behavioral challenges. RCC direct care staff use verbal de-escalation tactics as well as seclusion rooms and full-body restraints, when necessary, to ensure the safety of our clients. Kitchen staff rarely participate in de-escalation though may occasionally provide support to direct care staff when necessary.
