Dishwasher The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. The ideal candidate is reliable, efficient, and committed to ensuring that all kitchen tools and equipment are sanitized and ready for use. Key Responsibilities: Dishwashing: Wash and sanitize all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment according to health and safety standards. Operate and maintain the dishwashing machine, ensuring it functions properly. Kitchen Maintenance: Ensure that kitchen floors, surfaces, and trash areas are clean and free of debris. Remove trash and recyclables from the kitchen and dining area, disposing of them properly. Equipment Storage: Organize and store cleaned dishes, utensils, and cookware in their designated areas. Report any damaged or broken equipment to the kitchen manager. Additional Duties: Assist with kitchen setup, food prep, or other tasks as needed by the kitchen staff. Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications: No previous experience is required, but experience in a similar role is a plus. the dishwasher is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitization of dishes, sheet pans, pots, pans, utensils, and baking equipment through manual and machine cleaning methods. Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities: Wash sheet pans, dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans or all equipment used for production using dishwasher machine or by hand if necessary. Clean garbage cans with water or steam Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition. Place clean pans, utensils, and cooking equipment in the assigned storage areas. Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas. Organize and label all produce deliveries (dairy, flour, etc.) Deep cleaning of equipment - ovens, floors, counters, freezers & refrigerators, etc. Clean and maintain grease trap (every few days as assigned and when needed) Clean the entire production area and other assigned areas of the bakery - to include sweeping, floor mopping and scrubbing, polishing of dust from equipment, etc. Perform additional cleaning tasks as assigned by manager or chef that include but are not limited to stairs, sinks, bathrooms, mirrors, toilet seats, floors, trashcans, toilet paper stand and walls.
