PURPOSE
The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for china, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, etc., using machine and manual cleaning methods. This position also ensures the dishwashing area is maintained as a clean, safe and sanitary facility.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Sorts and rinses dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine
Sorts and stacks clean dishes. Carries clean dishes to cook's line and other proper storage areas. Rewashes soiled dishes before delivering
Changes dishwater in dish machines as required
Washes pots, pans, trays and other items by hand as necessary
Fills/empties soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions
Sweeps/mops floors
Notifies manager any time dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below safety standard temperatures
Must interact with student employees in a positive manner
May assist with food production
May assist with dining room clean-up, and put chairs up and take chairs down
May assist with replenishment of condiments and paper products
May assist with refuse removal
Other duties may be assigned tor each individual and organizational goals

POSITION SUMMARY:
To assist in the preparation of and serving all camp meals in compliance with GSUSA, NYDOH, OSHA and ACA standards and regulations. Actual salary will be based on applicant's experience
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Develops professional goals for the summer that will help support and meet GSWNY's mission and camp goals.
Assist the Head Cook with preparation and serving 3 daily meals & snack on time.
Assumes the responsibilities of the Head Cook in his/her absence.
Assist with food preparation and the serving of all meals.
Assists in maintaining inventory of food/kitchen supplies.
Supervises storage of kitchen equipment.
Assists in filling out cookout orders.
Assist with all aspects of maintaining a clean kitchen (i.e.: washing pots and pans, sweeping and mopping of floor, removal of trash)
Ensures the proper use and care of all equipment.
Lead by example.
Emphasize safety.
Follow all ACA, GSUSA, OSHA and NYSDOH standards and regulations.
Participates in all aspects of camp including pre-camp, open house and post camp.
Attends staff meetings when scheduled/necessary.
Apply behavior management techniques to conflicts with children when necessary.
Report incidents/accidents to supervisor or health supervisor immediately.
Report suspected child abuse to supervisor immediately.
Required to stay on the property during hours of operation (Sunday 10:00am to Friday 9:00pm)
Accepts other responsibilities as deemed necessary by the Head Cook/Camp Director.

Experience & Qualifications:
