Follow all safety protocols to avoid hazardous conditions and to prevent cross-contamination Prepare food by properly thawing, cutting, pre-cooking, par-cooking, portioning, etc. Receive, inspect, and stock deliveries of food stuffs and restaurant supplies. Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine. Wash pots, pans and trays by hand. Sort and stack clean dishes. Carry clean dishes to cook's line and other proper storage areas. Remove trash and garbage to dumpster. Change dishwater in dish machine as required by established practice. Initiate replenishment of supplies both at work stations and in the store room by following our Inventory Management Policy. Execute all side-job duties as assigned by management. Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions. Sweep/mop floors, wiping up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry. Perform routine preventative maintenance on kitchen equipment in compliance with established procedures. Demonstrate teamwork by supporting coworkers without regard to job titles or rank. Attend all scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement. Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
