The Position
The Sutton Commons is Roanoke College's all-you-care-to-eat dining commons, located in the Colket Community Center. “The Commons” serves students, faculty, staff, and other campus guests. This part-time non-benefitted position reports to Sutton Commons management. The Cook I is versatile and may support production in many different areas of the kitchen, including cold and hot food production and our grab & go production. To thrive in our work environment, a Cook I must be open to learning different roles and doing different tasks. In addition, the Cook I provides excellent customer service, pays strong attention to details, and can work in fast-paced environments while interacting with guests and staff. Key Responsibilities:
